My guild just raided UP and these dropped. The stats have changed. There is now 1 point of int on these. That is the only difference I remember.
Quit ******** about these. By the time you can get these, you'll have high enough INT so that when you have KEI your int will be maxed and you'll want to swtich out some INT gear for stats. Ever think of how much hp you'll get from 8 STA? Or the AC you'll get from the AGI? Very nice stats for a caster who might get aggro a lot.

These truly suck IMO but the dreamweavers and rotting flesh ROBES that drop here make up for it :)

Just in case you didn't know, casters really don't want items with melee stats, especially if you have to be over 50 to get them. No offense at all, but you guys MUST have been SO high when you made the entire dream weaver set. Just a thought.

You must be a damn n00b yourself.. Sta isn't just a melee stat, it's an everyone stat.. Everyone gets hit once in a while, and sta=hp. Also, gi=ac and getting hit less often. Don't ***** at verant for "pointless" stats, cause they are far from that... Use your head
Heh what's next, pure melee only bps with 3ac 9int 8wis 80mana?
Perhaps they considered that casters over 50 would generally have maxed int, and might want to consider other stats?

Well, my level 53 enchanter has 209 INT unbuffed (and for some reason has more mana than another enchanter with 227 INT /chuckle), as I prefer HP over mana. I rarely run LoM - after a pull of four where I charmed (with Boltran's, which sucks a lot of mana - more than Allure), mezzed, slowed, rooted, I was at 60M. But for the cleric's diligence, however, I'd have been rather... out of hitpoint.

Casters over level 50 generally have 255 intelligence? That's the new "max", since now you can actually get some mana from anything over the old soft-cap of 200. Maybe I don't know much about the high level game, but I would say that it's not very easy to get your primary mana stat up to 255 until well after level 50, and well after lots of high level raids.
This is just my opinion, and I'm sure lots of people will agree and disagree, but when I first saw this item, I thought "10 cold resistance, that's worth holding on to", then I immediately thought "the rest of the stats on this item suck".
Maybe I'm just wrong. If so, somebody please respond and correct me.

I got a 54 chanter with 205 INT buffed.. and wouldnt bother with the corpse run if all he had on were these..
