Wrong. Ammo slot still allows EFFECTS, but not STATS. Check the amulet and notice you get no AC for having it there...

This is true...ammo doesnt allow stats, range does

true, but in range this one gives 5 more HP than the Idol of the Thorned (for a 60 Rogue) + Pr/dr and at least DR is hard to raise.
P.S. wow, can´t believe 2 of my screenshots made it on allakhazams :o)
