I want this mask just for the lore, does anyone know where to find it, where does it drop? It is a refrence to the Frank Herbert "dune" series, from the "Children of Dune" novel.
Throughout all of EverQuest, since the very beginning, there have been references to the "Dune" series.
Brad's character, while he retained control of EQ, was "Aradune". "Ara-" from "Arrakis", "-dune" from...well, obvious enough on it's own.
In the original EQ (prior to the release of any expansion), there was a Crysknife that used to drop in the original Splitpaw. Later, after the "revamp", it dropped from Ghanex Drah in South Karana, and the Gnoll Embalmers in Lake Rathetear.
Would be interesting to comb through all of the drops in EQ that reference "Dune", and assemble them into a single collection on a toon.
