The problem with this armor is it is so hard to make, rewuires smithing around 240= to reliably make and the components are so hard to get.By the time ya could make this or afford to buy it (if available) you could get much better gear.
Verant improve this armor.it should be much better given the difficulty to make it.

This set is not hard to make. You are thinking of the second tier racial armor(Underfoot & Mischievous). I make this stuff with very few failures at 215.

This whole set really rocks for a dwarf warrior or pally. It beats out crustacean plate in piece by piece ac while still having okay str and sta on every piece WITH good mr and fr here and there. The crustacean plate beats it on single piece staminas but since this set has more pieces you might end up with the same hp from a set.
This would carry any dwarf warrior or pally up to the planes where you'd really only replace some pieces here and there.
