The str bonus on Validus Custodus Plate makes it nice for your bazaar vendor's. (If you have a lowbie vendor parked there)The agi hits blow, but can be made up with jewelry. Most pieces seem to go for around 20pp on Rodcet.

i have been looting this stuff off the guards in Katta.. as for the lvl to kill them.. it is a lot higher then lvl 35.. at lvl 38 they are still RED to me..

I looted a girdle right outside katta zone in tenebrous. very nice stuff, glad to see some good items dropping from SoL finnaly instead of 6/46 h2h weapons and the like.. too bad most of the really good stuff is dropping within 2 zones so far, there goes my great exp camp :\

i have been lead to believe that the Validus custodus Long Sword drops from the Katta Castellum guards, so i believe the rest of this Validus Custodus gear drops from the same. Bear in mind this is conjecture based on hearsay, so i may be wrong. feel free to correct me, but don't flame me.
