This is a good item for a tank who has Silver Chitin Hand Wraps or haste in some other slot besides the waist. The AC is comparable to the Sentry Girdle, and the negative agility is hardly noticeable on my warrior.

It's not the best waist slot item for a tank, but I usually find them easily on merchants in Katta for a few plat.
