For a level 1 quest. Although this takes me about 5 minutes with SoW on my Druid, it is ... exquisite, to actually HAVE a ring on my Vah Shir character that almost always sees: "You are out of food and drink."
Back to making shade silk bandages... *disgruntled sigh*
Went through the quest, had to collect about four times as many Payala, Saren only gave me the nectar after giving her 4 sets of 4 Payala. After finally giving me the 4 nectar juices, I gave them to Chialle who said thanks. That was it!
Below someone thought that perhaps by giving this ring back to the NPC that started the quest (Saren Kaja in Shadeweaver's) that there may be some continuation to it. Unfortunately there is not. I did the quest in about 10 minutes just so I could test that theory but all I got was the standard "I have no use for this" reply and my ring back. So it appears that there is no continuation. At least not with Saren Kaja.
For a level 1, this is pretty good ;). Remember that for a long time the only magic rings you can get non-twink would be CT rings at 12-15 or so, or the Agi version. Therefore a nice little newbie quest for some stats in a slot that shouldn't normally be used. And 5 hp at 1 is pretty ubah! hehehe
The ring is No Drop, I wonder if this can be given to someone. The stats are kinda cruddy, even though it's low level quest. I think this may be the stepping stone for something better.
Hmm...

Er, the definition of No Drop is that you cannot drop or trade them item. So, no, cannot give it to someone else. Nor would you need to. This quest can be done by a naked level one. The items needed can be obtained under a tree 10 feet from the first NPC.
Unraag, he was talking about turning it in to another NPC as part of another quest. TONS of items in the game are no-drop and are turned in for quests... Ring of the Ancients, just about all Epic items, etc...
Thinking some more...the first NPC spoke of "being my friend" or "making this for friends." I wonder what would happen if you gave the ring back to her once you got it? After all, she considers you a friend now for giving you the juice. If anyone tries it post the results.
True!! Darn nice little item that a level 1 non-twink can easily get, plus you just made two Vah Shir friends. What more could you ask for in a quest? Excellent for the level required.
