Alright... a little help please:
Someone that has not done this content that somehow gets to this item is not going to clearly know what it is for (based on our current information here as it isn't linked to any recipe, quest or such --just merchants you get it from)... so perhaps someone can summarize the purpose(s). If it ends up being things we can update into the database, then we'll do that --but at a minimum there will be a useful post here for someone looking at this 12 years down the road on TLP round #7 or such.

Maybe a little late on the reply but hopefully it will still be useful. Here is the Alla link for the Dark Soul Crystal which is the quest/achievement it is used in. There are 6 subcombines (each requiring a repair kit) and then a final combine.
