.....so I got em.....
# Oct 04 2005 at 4:43 AM Rating: Decent
So i spent 4k in King's Court Casino and got a pair of these, logged into my alt and immediately got another pair of these then a gold ticket....I'm a happy camper, and I will have fun experimenting with these hehe.
another use
# Oct 31 2004 at 10:16 AM Rating: Decent
im suprised by now i havent seen anyone write this, these gloves are ok in a pvp situation as well. Is 5hp a tick gonna kill you? probably not unless your low level but it sure can save you from getting mezzed, when dueling i click this until it lands, which can take a while with my resists then i have a 42 sec protection from mez. Its not long lasting but if youve ever faught a chanter you can do some serious damage to them if they are set up to chain mez you. Plus after 42 sec of you dishing out damage to them they might be quickly tempted to change their tactic since they dont know how long it lasts.
STILL DROP?
# Jun 26 2004 at 5:55 AM Rating: Decent
Does this item still drop from GE or is it now ONLY awarded through the kings court casino game?

The only good thing I can imagine is having an item in your inventory who's link you could use in the context of a sexual metaphor. =P

Pulling
# Jun 26 2003 at 1:09 AM Rating: Excellent
A Monk with this can basically pull any static PoP mob from within the middle of 50 mobs if u like, just gotta FD, stand up and just the doted mob will head your way. Probably the best long range pulling item there is.
Just got these

what drops these anyway?
RE: glove
# Feb 12 2002 at 6:00 AM Rating: Good
I got mine off a singultus primorus(sp?). He looks like the proeliators but bigger & has more hit points. Con blue to 53. Spawns very near the dawnshroud zone if you go thru the door to the left when entering the first room. Have seen him drop the gloves twice & the druid spell spirit of eagle once. Happy hunting.. grieg's is an awesome zone :).
range
# Jan 10 2002 at 5:31 PM Rating: Decent
I believe range is 255, as are a lot of spells, but I could be wrong. And you can wear these at the same time as orb of infinite void if you want too, since that is secondary slot and this is gloves
Grieg's End
# Jan 10 2002 at 11:35 AM Rating: Decent
Grieg's End is one nasty place though.

I seriously doubt you'll see any rogues twinked with these since they are ND and IMHO GE needs a decent group of 45+ to survive.

# Jan 10 2002 at 12:07 PM Rating: Decent
Was in there with a
46 Warrior, 45 Monk, 47 Rogue, 46 Chanter, 48 Cleric, 47 Shammy
---Yes, this is the Perfect group
We all almost died when we were introduced to a Dark Vision.

Zone Hint..If your a caster, and you have a spell that taunts...these things quad for 175, thats 700pts of dmg in 1 second. Let the tanks get there attention for a lil bit =)
Pulling
# Jan 10 2002 at 12:41 AM Rating: Decent
Id like to have a pair of these for pulling. Would choose this over Orb of Infinate Void since this does damage. Anyone know range of this?
RE: Pulling
# Aug 10 2002 at 5:59 AM Rating: Decent
If you are pulling stuff with an Orb of the Infinite Void I'm certainly impressed...I just use a bio orb.

If you're pulling at lower levels, this looks like a great item. At high levels though, you don't want to pull mobs that summon with damage. Dispels or other non-damaging debuffs work great.

I serious doubt this would take the mobs health down enough for them to be able to summon. Mobs can;t summon after 20 points of damage, is several hundred. Test it on the lotuses in fungus grove if you like.
RE: Pulling
# Jan 10 2002 at 11:47 AM Rating: Decent
Dotting what you pull is irresponsible =P

PS- for people that don't know puller doesn't normally call assist in a raid situation and something with a dot on it can't be mezzed.

The whole point is you use these for very hard pulls - like how the guy above mentioned - pull from a grp of mobs. The mob you pull is the mob you want so you arent going to want to mezz it anyway.....
RE: Pulling
# May 03 2004 at 6:00 AM Rating: Default
You got no clue, any mob that is damaged and can summon WILL summon, thats a hard pull to make if you get summoned back. If you want to pull with a spell do it with a non-damaging spell.

I'm afraid it is actually you that has "no clue". A summoning mob will not summon unless one of several things occur:

1) it receives over 100 (I believe) points of damage
2) someone tries to slow it
3) someone tries to snare it

There may be other triggers to make a mob begin summoning, but I don't know what they are.

It is a statement of pure fact though - if you pull with, for instance, a bracer of fennin ro which does a 35 point bolt dd, the mob will NOT summon you. If you pull with a 200 point swing of your axe, it will.

INNNNNN other news: On pvp servers this item has another use - use it on yourself in preperation for pvping an enchanter or bard. Then, when they mez you, the mez breaks on the next tick when the dot processes. very useful!

None of you have a clue. It's 96%. No matter what. I think two mobs in the game summon at 100%.
RE: Pulling
# Jul 20 2004 at 4:33 PM Rating: Default
Though, as has been pointed out, mobs that summon can't do so prior to dropping below 95-98% (it seems to vary from mob to mob, though most XP-level mobs follow the 95% rule, probably due to relative HPs).
Poison Bolt
# Jan 10 2002 at 12:20 AM Rating: Decent
Poison Bolt is the Level 4 necro DoT that does 6 damage on impact, plus 35 more (5 per tick for 7 ticks.)

Sorry, don't know who drops these. Anybody?
Very Nice!
# Jan 09 2002 at 6:34 PM Rating: Decent
Poison is a very frustrating skill, and once I finally make a poison I go insane when I fail to apply. this is a great tool for Rogues, and I would really like to get a pair.
