Shadows of LuclinThis is part of a quest that begins with Trade Commissioner Henry in ShadowHaven. The end result of the quest is a neck slot item the increases faction with the "Traders of the Haven". It originally had a bug that increased all factions but now I believe it works as intended and only good for ShadowHaven faction. It greatly improved my faction in ShadowHaven so that i was able to trade with merhcants i could not normally trade with. Also there are several other small quests that need to be completed to trade in SH. Talk to the "Glimmerblades" in town.

I received this necklace 2 days after Luclin and the effect did do something...It was basically an alliance necklace. It increased your faction one level over your real faction with any group. I know because it allowed me to do faction quests in places I was unable to do faction quest before because I was KOS. Places like Neriak, where I was maximum KOS, I remained KOS. The necklace was nerfed because the effect was only supposed to work in The Bazaar, as the quest says, but it was working everywhere. Take it to The Bazaar and try to buy items, there is a significant difference while wearing the necklace in this zone.

Interesting to note that there is an "effect" field in the item description and that it's blank. Anybody have any idea what quest this item is used for? Likely it will result in some proc'ing item, be it automatic or manual....woot!
This is nothing but a faction quest. Takes your faction from Apprehensive to Amiable in one shot.
I did this quest with 3 of my characters.
The necklace received says there is a faction modifier attached to it, but nothing ever seems to change whether you have it on or not.

Part of the Trade Commish's quest (2nd part). Which results in mainly faction, and a silly + CHA necklace.
My thought on the effect thing is that all items, when programmers are creating them, have an effect slot, but they obviously forgot to remove it, like on many items in Luclin right now.
