I just had an idea.
If this is still all/all (and I do remember equipping my Cleric with this at one point) does that mean that a Berzerker can equip this to raise his piercing skill?
(This is assuming though that Piercing and 2H Piercing work off the same "piercing" skill. And assuming that a 24 delay is as slow a piercing you could get for a zerker.)

note that when the disease hits, its more of a 4/24 ratio, meaning vs creatures that often fail the disease check, youre getting a ration of 6. its not a bad weapon for a lowbie, especially someone who needs to get piercing up fast without spending a bunch of money. i would use one of these on my newbie ranger to get his piercing up, since vs the monsters hes fighting, it is better than a tarnished dagger. on my server, there isnt much in the way of uber gear in the bazaar, youre lucky to find needlite stingers. also, you dont have to waste pulling weapons, just use these as they drop.

Subject says it all. Got one of these off a merchant, and they are faster than a chisel (the other piercer I was using.)
Paladin Pierce and 2hb have got to be the hardest melee skills (beyond non-MNK/BST H2H I guess) to raise.

To raise your 2HB skill just walk into Lake Rathe and pick up the abandoned orc shovel. Extremely lousy damage but it's also one of the fastest 2HB weapons in the game.
I'll admit this is a sweet weapon for raising your skill though. My pierce skill is sitting around 5 and I'm going to try to get one of these to get it up where it should be.

Try a:
Crystal Grinder Dmg 9, Dly 27. +2 AC +2.50 Wt
You're actually doing damage and training with it. And, +2 AC bonus.

Very few other piercers for pallies have a delay lower (especially easy ones to get) the ratio is of course one of the worst for pallie peircers but (to train with) delay helps.. Perhaps a Gore Covered Horn from Gorehorn would be something to look out for though.. 6/23 only one better delay, but heh..
