Ok people, Let's add this up. Advantages of playing a human:
1)No Experience penalty, 2)Not KoS to the entire world. 3)Able to wear plate armor and most other kinds or armor. 4)Don't have that far to go if you wanna raise faction.
Advantages of playing Iksar:
1)Natural AC bonus that doesn't matter when you level up. 2)Regen (wich by the way is not as good as Trollie regen) 3)Swimming is mastered at level 1.
Well, that's about it. Granted I wouldn't trade my Iksar for anything in the world. The fact still remains that Iksar get the shaft on so many levels it's not even funny. Heck, even trolls, ogres and Dark elves can go into each other's cities. All we have is Cabilis.

Dubious to HHK, and got lvls at HHK basement - No sweat... were not KoS in Velious and i heard were not KoS in luclin...im not sure if the regen is worse than trolls tho

I assure you it is...Trolls have THE best regen.
And the natural regen of an Iksar is supposed to make up for the slower lvling! I have a human monk and love her. I never created her for the fact she wasn't kos rather I like the roleplay better. (I don't like lizards and can't pretend i do!) She lvls fast even without regen and the others...swimming and being non Kos in Cabillis...well that is easy to fix! I agree iksars have advantages, but I will stick with my human anyday!

I am sure you realized that playing an Iskar had its disadvantages shortly after making him, its not like it is some big secret. Don't wanna deal with everybody hating you, play a human. Besides, lizards smell.

You have any idea how many other advantages you iksar monks have over human monks? This is just one more balancing factor. Just to name one major advantage, forage.
Ooooo yeah. Iksar forage is SUCH a great advantade. First of it only works about 10% of the time, It starts at 50 and STAYS there (I should know since I've been forraging since level 5). I think you need to get your priorities in order.

ohhh ahhhh forage.. such a .. uhh... "major" advantage.. i mean.. foraging benefits a fight greatly!.. it helps to eat a well balanced meal of roots and .. pods of water
seriously.. only advantage iksar have is there healing abilities .. but than again.. is it really worth it later on when your KOS in every town and zone? kinda puts limits on where you can hunt.. unless of course your lvl 60 cleric friend loves to come fix you up whenever you get trained in permafrost.

WHY WHY WHY WHY is this item not wearable for Iksars?? I have an Iksar monk. You mean Human monks who are not KOS everywhere can have one, but an Iksar who has to sneak his *** everywhere can't? How hypocritcal.

iksars were reported at one point as not able to wear plate armor because it hurts their scales or something to that effect. realistically it is a balance issue... personally haveing infravision, forage, regeneration and better stats (comparing monks mainly) kinda makes not be able to wear plate not seem like not so bad a trade to me.. hell regeneration alone far outweighs not being able to wear plate armor.. and if i remember right there is some iksar only armors.

the graphic is that of steel plate and plate armour is somthing that iksar cant use. Why i don't know, so if someone can tell me i would be most pleased

Real stats are NOT AC 6 +9 dex +4 agi. They are as listed in the picture AC 1 +3 dex +9 agi.
Actually, the AC truly is 1. My human monk wears 2 of them...)

The extra 5 AC might come from the +9 AGI. I'll have to check.

No, 9 Agility adds 3AC. 1AC point for every 3 Agility points. At least that is how it works for me on my Ranger.

But bear in mind, that is only adding to your total ac. 3 raw ac would be far superior than this, as raw ac is multiplied by defense skill to give you your total ac.
