This was a quick 1st run thru with my lil Bard i looted 4 or 5 or 10 before it occured to me to mark my map also i was attacked a time or 3 by undead at least one of the village locs is a few steps off as i had to move back n fade then try to come back to the spot after i had picked it to get the loc :(.
Anyway I stayed till i got 2 repops at locs I already had marked got 63 total haul my 1st try. Hope this helps

To all my fellow Moonpie makers after weeks of picking these things I have discovered that they just dont spawn around the zones lines I have found them in the Hills North of the Darkpaw camp and in the Village as far South as the Crypt. They dont spawn as thick as they used to when SoD came out but it does seem that they has increased their spawn radius. I hope this helps Happy Hunting!

I found that same thing, thought nothing of it other than 'WOW, 4 at 1. sweeeet'. It was on ahill in OGH directly south of the friendly gnoll camp, next time I see it (if I see it again), I'll post the loc if it is the same.

~ Needed these to get my brewing up so here are my notes. ~
These are easier to see during the day. Once night falls and you can't find any, come back in a few EQ day(s). An EQ day is 72 minute (1 hour 12 minutes)
These spawn in both Oceangreen hills and Oceangreen Village.
In OGH you can find them near the zone line all the way up to the path that travels east/west. The farther away from the zoneline, the less likely you will find any. I've mapped over 44 spawn spots so run around and you can find 20-25. they also spawn on the hill near the Gnoll camp but not north of it. West of the camp they spawn too and hide in the depression there and on the hill nearby.

In OGV you can find them all along the path that leads to the village and only on the east side of it. The farther you get away from the path, the less you will find. They also spawn between the village and the new building they are putting up AND around that construction. I've never found on along the zone wall but if you got breewalls map, nothing beyound the gray line. Nothing west of the pond either. I've mapped over 53 spawn spots so run around and you can find another 20-25.

I usually get 45 and leave, come back a few EQ days later and grab another 45 unless someone beats me to it. I added a picture of the maped locations above.

Some other general tips on finding ground spawns in any zone
01. Turn your Gamma up high and turn off your UI to see them easier.
02. Set up a hot button with /autoinv and have it tied to your right or left turn button so you auto inventory it. That way you can have the UI off, grab the item with your cursor and have a wider view to look for spawns.
03. Mark spawns on the map to see if they pop up in a specific area or all over the zone.

I tend to find them mostly in Oceanside Hills, near the Oceanside Village zone line. I can't figure out if they spawn in a regular location at a regular time. I use my rogue to sneak/hide around (Shroud of Stealth for the win), as there are a fair number of mobs that wander arond. There's a whole gaggle of undead in one spot where they can spawn, so having a rogue handy to farm them really makes it easier. That way, you don't have to worry about invisibility dropping or something seeing through it.

These are located in so many locations all over Oceangreen Hills and Oceangreen Village that it would pointless to even try to post all the locations. Unfortunately I do not know what they are used for at this time but they are easy to spot with the red bud part of the flower against a green grass background.

Update - Was told by someone that played the beta verson of SOD that this never made it to the live servers for the quest it was used on at the time of beta. So for now I'm assuming it is junk.

This is a ground spawn throughout Oceangreen Hills and Oceangreen Village. Looks like a rose growing out of the ground.
