where i foraged for this near he wall of the fort. As you go over the west wall of the fort the is a hill with some trees. Might have been luck but i got a pinecone with minutes...of being there. Tried numerous attempts at foraging all through OGH and OGV. To no avail. its a start

One definite combine that it is used in is with the task called CURE THE CRUD, giving by Kerrin the Unkempt in Oceangreen Hills.
Kerrin gives you a 4-slot container called a Stone Vial. Combine a Pinecone, an Oceangreen Wheatgrass and a Mild Maggot Acid inside it to make Vial of Curative Elixer.
The Stone Vial is used up on this combine.
