#REDACTED, Posted: Mar 22 2005 at 8:36 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I can't believe I got this item on my alt monk. I was trying to keep him at 51-52 to participate in Vox/Naggy raids and this is the most insane and useful upgrade I think I could get for him short of a Sceptre of Destruction or Barb pants. Him being human as well he doesn't even get the infravision of iksar not to mention the regen or the armor class boost (Sony sucks). Anyway, this is the coolest raid item a monk can ever hope for. If you can muster it get a few insane lvl 70 chars together and take this weenie down. And as long as you're going take me along so I can get my snare dagger :p...

This has to be the first item I've seen come out of Ssra that's tradable. Even that godaweful blacksmithing hammer off the Creator is no-drop. Curiouser and curiouser...

Some very nice stuff here... and seems a bit less rare than tov drops... be interesting to see if that's a loot table problem or not.

This temple has a lot of high end item drops. And great stuff for monks as well. I agree that this place is only going to be doable by ToV ready groups. there is too much good stuff here that is not no drop. I have a feeling Verant is going to do something to this place or items to make it so much harder to get. I see a lot of farming going to be done here. I know people that farm in EQ and make a good living off of it. Crazy.

Just like NToV, there's no such thing as "farming" in the temple, not in the traditional sense of the word. Easy? no. Creator has on the magnitude of 1 million hp. Long fight with repops of lvl 60 golems. I know - I was there when he was killed and dropped this helm on the Rathe.

Though I believe Verant should make this no drop, noone in a guild capable of fighting their way in and dropping this guy would sell this. It stays with the guild.

edit: headband has been made no drop btw, just checked with person who has it. Your prayers have been answered.

i would say froglok crown is no more, but judging where this item drops, it most certainly wont be farmed and sold. this is an awesome helm for all classes that can use regardless of wt. unless something better comes out this will never see the head of any of my twinks.

The only classes that can wear are Monk.
Sorry Lord Astral, but...
# Dec 29 2001 at 5:21 AM Rating: Default
From the 25AC range item that also drops off this guy, I'm betting that Xerkizh is someone that only ToV - ready guilds could really fight and win against. So figure that any guild that can beat nasties like Lendiniara the Keeper or Aaryonar could get through Ssra Temple with enough keys to beat this guy.
This is .....

Dunno what to say, only way it could get better would be if it had coustom graphic. this is a realy nice monkie hat.

MONK ITEM!!

(sorry, bored at work)

Seriously, this KICKS! OMG, did you notice, NO "Recommended Level", and not NO DROP...imagine the Twinkage Factor on this baby (9.8)

Imagine a young level 1 Monk with 120+ HP (that's about level 4-5 I think? been so long since...no wait..didn't play my monk that far -=P got bored, but if ya give me this, I'll give it another shot!)

The AC itself on a newb too would be awesome..that's like...5-6 pieces of leather they can't wear in the first place...(just guessing, btw)

Anyway...have fun twinking with this one, if I ever got it (though I doubt they'd hand the UBERific Monk item over to the Druid -=P), I'd start a monk! -=P

(Note, this would probably help a lot doing the Monk Epic...was maybe 20+ ppl from my old guild trying to kill that Monk under the lava and you can imagine the chaos doing resists and all that was...)
Uber PvP piece

great monk item
# Dec 28 2001 at 5:37 PM Rating: Default
this is a great monk item for saves hp and the ac with only .1 wt thats great and for it being magic and not lore that was a bad mistake on verrents side hehe well they will probally make it ultra rare to get or something of the sort
RE: great monk item
# Dec 28 2001 at 7:59 PM Rating: Default
Why is it that people see the damn splash screen every time they log in to the game, and still can't spell Verant right?

They'll probably make it as rare as periods are in your post.
#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 07 2002 at 9:36 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) uhhh ardvark... WHO CARES.... most people on eq have sorry punctuation skills (hated the sh*t in school) its sorta somthing NON essential to life... and in eq usually you go for short sweet and to the point (i.e. abreviations) and its not like any of the stuff said is LIFE changing, or really important. and this headband... would love it for my monk (im prolly never gonna see anything of the sort tho)
RE: great monk item
# Mar 05 2002 at 10:03 AM Rating: Decent
Heh, yah, except for one thing. Punctuation makes it a WHOLE lot easier for educated people to read. I don't know how many posts I skip because I can't read them (or don't want to read them) because it's one long sentence filled with lower-case letters and no punctuation.
Yes, in eq punctuation really isn't necessary because all you see is: "LF port 2 DL, will donate" or "PC on CotFS, PST". However, these message boards aren't in game...

But I do agree. I would LOVE to have this on my monk.. right now, I only have a 10AC headpiece, and my resists are really suffering. Makin a lot of money in CC right now, so by the time getting this is a reality except a wish, I should have some decent resists/hp/ac.
