Of all places, I picked these up off a mechanic on Ak'Anon. Didn't have the claw graphic, but dropped along with a couple sprockets nonetheless. Odd place to find it I thought. Sold it for a plat and a few gold to the merchant standing right there.

I just found my first one on a Krag Elder in Steamfont of all places. Anyway, my question is this. Since this goes in a weapon slot does this increase a weapon skill or hand to hand skill? It could be considered blunt, (although the grafic makes it look like Wolverine's claws) but skill required for it is hand to hand.
The reason I don't know is because my enchanter found it and I wasn't sure if I should save it for my monk or not.
Oh, here's another question. Can you still have gloves on in your hand slot for AC? Gloves on top of gloves, funny but why not? Any reply would be helpfull.

I have gotten several of these off skellies and ghouls in Unrest. I am thinking these are generic random loot for mid level mobs. You will know it is one when a mobs comes at ye with a clawed hand. Sometimes though, it may be a steel or bronze claw, but mostly one of these.

Dug these off of a dervish in North Ro, I think? Noone wanted them either on Stormhammer so I just sold them for a few gold. Could they please make a few more worthless, useless items for the game?

No kidding, I was playing my druid and was lvl 14 at the time and I was killing blue stuff for exp at the time. I always waste any wandering orc pawns that are nearby for the factions in freeport since I am wood elf with apprehensive faction with most merchants there. Then along comes this ORC PAWN with one handed claw and I was confused and excited at the same time. I killed it with the usual one blow from my hammer and looted these gloves. Being for monk and beastlord only I /ooc'd on and off for an hour asking if any monk or beastlord wanted these for FREE and I GOT NO TAKERS!! I ended up just selling it for about 3 gold to a vendor. After I saw the 5.0 stones weight and absolutely lousy dmg/dly I figured they were worthless as a wpn, but I thought somebody would want to take em off my hands. Nope not even for free.
Could be that somebody else got these gloves somewhere else and just gave it to a pawn, knowing that nobody else would ever want to wear these.

Common drop, worthless to all but lvl 1 untwinked weaponless monks.
i found this and rusty knuckles in BB... i was wandering around cause i was board so i killed a few guards and got these! they look like claws so thats like the only good part about em. At first i thought it was going to be a new slashing wep, but nope =/

Can anyone tell me how this thing works? Is the damage and delay added to your regular hand-to-hand damage and delay, or can you not equip weapons with these on?

No young grasshopper it doesn't add anything. This would be like if you equipped any other weapon. just that this one uses your hand to hand skill instead of say, 1 hand blunt.
