I found these on a vendor somewhere selling for about 43pp.

I purchased it for my twink druid, who used it for a while until she scored Elesyan sleeves. Then, it was passed down to my twink necro, who used it until he got netted kelp sleeves. Then my twink chanter got it until she acquired gatorscale sleeves. Finally, it was dropped down to my vendor mule.

For months, not one other Follower's Sleeves was being sold. I had no idea what to charge for these so I kept it in the satchel unlisted.

Two days ago, I said, "what the heck", and listed these for 1200pp. Personally, I value these at about 300-500pp, but since they seem to be so rare, I made up what I thought was a crazy price.

The sleeves sold for 1200pp within 15 minutes.

Notice that I'm posting this in April 2003, way past LoY and PoP releases. I either got very lucky, or these really have this good a value.

You're right these are rare, as are any decent INT-caster arms. These tend to sell for 500-1000, but if you know WHY prices are what they are, you can pretty much name your price for these until you start to hit the price ranges of some of the decent stuff from LoY or PoP.

I think Veksar added a couple of nice caster sleaves, but I'm not sure.

Paid 750 for them on Brell, was a good upgrade to Plat armband but probably paid too much.

These dropped off a something Retainer. Tro Jeg Retainer methinks? Well, the Retainer form of one of those little alien guys. Zoned in from Twilight and ran left along the wall to a camp of the dark green alien dudes. He was casting something when in melee range but it never stuck. Blue at 52.

Decent sleeves, only problem is they have NO graphic. I mean not even leather. So now my druid looks like he's wearing a tank-top. ;/
