:D A random nice guy in Neku gave these to my level 2 Necro alone with the sleeves, cap and bracers and they're now on my lvl 7 BST. Ownage? i think so. ^_^

blood weave stuff is good i have seen this guy drop the blood weave sash and girdle of the blood fiend. rolled a 1 on the girldl and a 5 on the sash so my spot is still empty... was actually very fun here... they have like 0 fire resist so at lvl 41 i could land every fire nuke on um... being a wizard i have alot of fire resist 112 to be exact which for my lvl is hear is pretty good.... so the negative sv fire is just fine... as long as i get my cold its the only one i have under 70
FYI

Some of these items do have a really nice wis stat to them. The negative SVF does put a damper on really having a full set of this armor. We took a couple groups of guildies up to Tenebrous Mtns and really made short work of these vamps. We saw the pantaloons along with the arms drop. It does show up a very dark reddish brown color, which is a welcome color change (at least for me) on my 54 halfling druid. I am wearing the pantaloons on her now and I have to say that they are a decent upgrade to my gatorscale leggings.

Ok, since I have trouble getting allakhazam to post items I submit, I'll just post the tunics stats here in the pantaloon thread. Dropped for me on the same guy who dropped the pants...bottom floor flying named.

Blood Weave Tunic
AC 13
+2 Str, +5 Wis, +10 Int, +8 agi, +10 Poison and Disease Resist, -5 Fire resist
WT. 1.0
All/All

Blood Weave Boots
AC 5
+4 Str, +1 Wis, +4 Int, +10 agi, +5 Poison and Disease resist, -5 Fire resist
WT. 0.7
All/All

Boots dropped on the Named Vampyre who goes up and down the stairs, also dropped the Visor of the Dreaded Gaze at the same time. =D
Looks?

Some of us druids are... well... superficial and looks come before stats in some slots (given the other items stats balance things out). So what I wanna know is what do these look like?

Looks like netted kelp with old graphics, and dark red leather with Luclin graphics.

When I got the pair I have these dropped off of a named vamp just inside the main gate of the vamp fort. He was a bit of a pain for a 51 warrior and a 60 cleric so we grabbed a passing 58 monk and made short work of him after about five minutes. Did I mention he had quite a few hitpoints? Anyway he also used fire based nukes in addition to the normal 200 point proc they have too so keep RF up if you're gonna kill em.
Cleric and Druid?

How comes that most posts deal about clerics and druids? I mean, this item is nice for an int caster anyday. Heck, I still have silversilk leggins at lvl 54 (well, maybe I was too lazy to spend my time in EC).
Hmmmm

AC is real bad, but finding pants with Wisdom is nice. The minus to Fire resist sucks though, but you take the good with the bad. Might be worth it.

They have -4 to fire resist. This will hurt for higher level raids. But still, better than gator legs =)
#REDACTED, Posted: Jan 11 2002 at 8:57 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This will only hurt people that didn't take the time to plan thier end game sufficiently. I know -4 fire won't hurt me at all, I walk around with a 171 FR, and 168 CR. Sure, I loose a little mana over it, but, I can be prepped for that unsuspecting attack at any given moment. And I STILL maintain a 231 Int.

Ooooh! 5 wis pants. I have a druid and a cleric who could both use these. Too bad Ac is not higher, though the agi should help some there.
#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 26 2001 at 1:14 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) A cleric wouldn't be caught dead wearing these. I'd say these are monk/druid pants, maybe even beastlord.
#Darknyss, Posted: Dec 26 2001 at 2:19 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) wow... a Cleric that wouldn't want 5 wis pants... what kind of conceited uber twink are you??...

Decent, but not great -- my Kromriff Military Leggings have better AC and stats, and can be gotten in a decent group around level 40. They are quite a bit heavier, but the strength bonus pretty much cancels that out.

#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 26 2001 at 11:59 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) A cleric who knows his *** from his spellbook would take bronze leggings over this. The AC is way too pitiful for a plate-wearing class. Druids get shafted in the AC department anyway (not complaining, just saying), so having 6 AC leggings over the usual 7 or 8 isn't that big of a deal. A cleric with 6 AC leggings over 15+ WILL make a difference. A cleric's AC should be about the same (maybe a little lower) to that of a shadow knight or paladin.
#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 26 2001 at 11:20 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) At level 33, my Cleric (non-twinked, btw) had 200 Wisdom. At level 37, she has 208 Wisdom.

Cleric's wont need AC if they control their aggro and don't get hit. And now that the wis/int cap has been raised to 255, more wis = much more mana. I have 237 wis now on my druid (that's over 3200 mana at level 56)

When the Enchanter or Shaman's health starts dropping in a big fight, you can't decide to "control your agro" by waiting to heal them. You have to heal them now or resurrect the corpse later. Often times healing makes you agro with SOME of the mobs. Since you still have mobs beating on the Enchanter or Shaman, you need to keep the heals coming until the fight is under control. Using Divine Aura removes that agro from you and sends them back to beating on the Enchanter or Shaman. In a big fight, you can lose your cursor and have it take some time clicking off DA so you can start healing again. Better if you don't need to remove it because you were able to tank and heal while mobs were being mesmerized. Sometimes I purposely go agro just so the Enchanter can more easily mesmerize. If Verant wants healing to have high agro, then we need to make use of that high agro and not just call "zone" while people depending on us die. No, Clerics can't tank, but we can take a few hits IF we have some AC and buffs up. I am no "Battle Cleric", it has been months since I hit a mob with a weapon in a group. :p

You know, Miri, you're right. I suppose more shamen should dump their AC gear for wisdom too. Same with everyone but warriors.

Sometimes clerics don't have a choice but to overaggro (or let the tank die). **** happens. Personally, I'd rather have a cleric with 180 wisdom and 1300 AC than a cleric with 255 wis and 1100 AC.

I hate to mince numbers, but unless you have a ton of mana gear on you, 237 wis is not 3200 mana. The new mana formula works something like this: ((int/wis_up_to_200/5)+(int/wis_over_200/10)+2)*your_level.

That gives you 2559 mana. I don't like to mince numbers, but yours were glaringly wrong.
WOW !!!
