Didn't see anyone post this or if they care ... After making these I fully buffed my shammy and nec and this does stack with all other forms of resists. Great potion imo. Put my necro well over 200 on all buffs cept fire which was at 195.

SHUT UP ALREADY

Try this on for size...

Pali or no Pali take your discussion on the greatness, or lack there of, regarding Paladins or any other race to its proper forum.

I believe this space is supposed to be about whatever item the posts fall under.

Most of us come here to find information on something we are looking for or something we have picked up or seen.

For some of you clowns to go off acting like you are, what, 12, is a bit much and it's startingto show your age(s).

What A LOT of you ned to realize is that just about every class of character compliments another and that NO one class is perfect and can survive on it's own.

Now, someone who knows what this item is post the information... And let's try to make weeding thru the information on this board worth reading... Andn ot like standing at the fence of an elementary school play ground.

#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 20 2001 at 12:25 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) so, what defines pallys? complete heal...nope, clerics can do that too. tankage...nope, sks and warriors can do that too. umm...i got it! they can't do any dmg...that must be it!
RE: pallys...

hehe, i AM a pally, and i'm not a n00b, whatever you say. i'm lvl 52 (and i have 2 alt adv pts, if you know what they are) on xegony, and generally, i agree w/ you. we have good ac/hp and LoH and stuff. and we have some nice (though nearly impossible) weapon quests in the planes. however, it seems that almost no one realizes this, as i can NEVER get a group. everytime i'm told "no we need a tank, pally's don't count". i agree that pallys are cool, i just want my silence spell back...that was something unique about the class (if a bit overpowering...).

as for doing the uber (uber is spelled w/ a u, not a 0) quests that i can "do"...it's kinda hard to do planar quests when one has a real life on the side as well.

also, you only have to post your post 1 time, 3 times is a bit excessive...unless you're too technologically impaired to realize this...
#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 20 2001 at 7:43 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Just a note, ya pallies might suck, under 50, have you ever looked up pally weapon quests in the planes, weapons stats that make anybody cry, 24/26, 19/22, 45/48, oh i forgot your just a n00b who dis's every class and not cosidering high lvl quests that they can do and get 0ber stuff. Just take your n00b *** and go play instead of flaming all other classes. And Thorann is semi right, most pallies dont flame other classes most of the time, they just play.

Did you get lost? Insults go on the flame forum. (BTW Pallys can't CH, except for LOH, and LOH is insta-cast, compared to CH, with 10-sec cast, and they are excellent at absorbing damage, with high AC and HP comparable to warriors. Oh and they don't go around insulting other classes at random.)
#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 20 2001 at 5:58 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) if you read his post, it says what are pallys? can pallys CH? nope, he never said Paladins could CH cept you jump right on and reply probably before ya read the whole post <sigh> n00bZ
RE: pallys...
# Dec 20 2001 at 12:08 PM Rating: Decent

Just a minor correction: Lay Hands is not actually a complete heal with no casting time, unless the paladin spends alternative advancement points to make it a CH, but they can't do that until 59+.

At level 50, my LoH heals approx 1800-1900 hps, and considering I have 2400 or so, self-buffed, believe me I wish it WAS a complete heal... ;-)

Paladins do rule however. :-)

Well?
# Dec 19 2001 at 8:16 PM Rating: Decent
So... what does it do?

And am I the only one that thinks BLs should have been given alchemy? Having just one class have a monopoly on it seems silly to me, and BLs would be the logical class to give it to.
RE: Well?
# Dec 20 2001 at 3:53 PM Rating: Default
Yeah, what DOES it do? The following from EqCaster doesn't exactly clear it up:

Divine Endurance

Spell cast on someone: Soandso is resistant.

RE: Well?

Every class has their own specific abilities that make them in one way or another more beneficial than other classes at certain things. Shamans are arguably the best buffers in the game...that said, their ability to make potions is basically an extension of their buffing; that is, they can buff indirectly by bottling their spells for later use, similarly to how enchanters (the other expert buffers) can enchant materials to enhance the crafted items' stats- another indirect form of buffing. This isn't to say the buffs provided by other classes isn't great and all, but the ability to buff so well is what defines the Shaman class, and their skill in alchemy is merely an extension of that ability
