No duh it doesn't fit erudites, their heads are the size of three watermelons put together. it only fits 2 wm. size heads and lower... like ogres
Hmmm

Looking at the stats for this I have one question. How is it this thing will fit on the head of an Ogre, an Iksar, even a Halfling, but not an Erudite?
Got This Cheap
# Dec 17 2002 at 9:53 AM Rating: Default
Well, on Seventh Hammer, the bazaar has driven prices way down, and I have been getting items much cheaper than I previously thought imaginable. I got this for 5pp yesterday from a PC in the bazaar. Also got a Frozen Mantle for 5pp and a Dragoon Dirk for 5pp. Perfect for me, as I do not want to spend much on my alt, but still want to get him some items.

One man's treasure is another man's garbage - my 18 chanter got it off of the merchant for 40ish plat. She's a Dark Elf and it fits her no prob - not half bad equipment at her level.
Races that can wear..
# Mar 03 2002 at 5:11 AM Rating: Decent
I looted one of these, suppose I should have written downt he races who could wear it since now that I am here I see the picture above is wrong, the one I looted was the same in all aspects except the races. Very screwed up item, it had large races and some small races, no medium that I remember. So it ended up going to an ogre friend since my half elf couldn't wear it /cry
I'll buy it

I've got 200p waiting for someone on xegony that has this.. I know i could probably get it myself, but the lag in luclin just makes me hate going there. And I don't care what people say about the level for wearing this, it'd be a nice upgrade for me at lvl 31 (considering i'm wearin nothing).

My god man - get a group to go to Runneyeye and get a Black Alloy Coif, which destroys this.

8AC, 6STR, 6 to all saves I think it is.

Crazy Pete
# Jan 07 2002 at 1:13 PM Rating: Decent
Here is the information on Crazy Pete and this Fungus Crown.

Crazy Pete is located through the "Hidden Entrance" from Shadowhaven. When entering the zone stay left along the wall and there will be a hallway behind a torn curtain. Proceed with caution here, as there are Outcast Mutants, and several other named NPC's. Crazy Pete is located in a second cavern off of the first cavern (tward the back) under a canopy. Be careful when you pull him, as if you run right up to him, there are 3 mushrooms to his right that will aggro.

Crazy Pete is a Druid with approxamate level of 25ish. This Fungus Crown seems to be his common drop, as I killed him 3 times and got the crown 2 times, and nothing the third time. Respawn on him is about 15 minuites, and as a 51 necro it was fairly easy to clear the room 1 at a time and keep it clear.

Happy Hunting!
High Elves
# Dec 30 2001 at 3:55 AM Rating: Decent
While High Elves aren't that much smaller than humans, they can wear both Small and Medium armor. My Enchanter had a greater portion of equipment from Orc Pawns for quite a few levels
medium small debate...
# Dec 26 2001 at 10:09 PM Rating: Default
Dwarfs and Halflings are certainly small as that is all they can wear (with the exception of magical armors).. Dark Elves and Wood Elves can wear both medium and small armors.. and since small armors are normally lighter that would actually be preferred.. High Elves though I think can only wear medium..
suck

who cares who got left out, if your over lvl 35 and you have this item, you should prob look into getting some better gear
RE: suck
# Jul 18 2003 at 1:46 PM Rating: Default
Actually it's not too bad... The 20 HP's are a nice addition at this level. Also, for my Iksar Beastlord, heck that's not bad AC considering what I can wear.
Races
# Dec 19 2001 at 12:19 AM Rating: Default
Half Elves also got left out...
RE: Races
# Dec 19 2001 at 3:11 AM Rating: Default
Half Elves don't count as a small race, though. They're med, like humans.
RE: Races
# Dec 19 2001 at 11:51 AM Rating: Default
And Dark Elves count as a small race? This is a Medium size item, not Small. Not every Medium item is for Half Elves, and not every Small item is for Gnomes.
RE: Races
# Mar 07 2002 at 6:25 AM Rating: Decent
The size that is listed (size: medium) refers to how it will fit in a container. For example, this item will not fit in a container that can only hold small items. It has nothing to do with the races that can wear it.

eerrrrr Megladar, you might be the scholar, and i am just a lowly ranger, but YES ! dark elf is a small race!

The small races, except for Gnomes. Why'd they get left out? *shrug*

RE: Races
# Aug 08 2002 at 8:41 PM Rating: Default
Actually, gnomes can use this nice item. it makes for an especially nice item on a lower level character (specially a gnome wizard) because they could use all the HP they can get. My gnome has this, as well as a crystal webshield (some 12ish AC, 20hp 20 mana (or something like that) and I have about 120 HP. Not bad for a level 7 wizard!

But since we're talking about races, why can't half elves wear an item like a Kunzar Cloak? In fact, Half elves, humans, barbarians, and Erudites are the only ones who can't use a kunzar cloak. maybe it's the human-ness in them that disallows them to use it.
