I was about to write about how this item is no way worth the price listed here (where do they come up with these prices?).
Then our party killed Gorelaz and the mask dropped.
No one needed it, so I checked my face-slot item and realized that I had neglected this part of my gear for over 40 levels and had nothing better than a stupid 5ac mask. To think that this almost made it to one of our twinks...
I must say that it is a pretty decent mask considering the lack of better items for the face slot. Would I pay the 2.2k+ listed here for this? Hell no. I'd probably pay as much as I'd sell it for, around 800pp-1.5kpp MAX. This is my every-day, non-resist gear mask.

Just out of curiosity, do you know of the item Eyepatch Of The Plunder? It's a quest in Velious. If you are lvl 65, it should be quite easy for you to do the quest. If you think this mask is nice, you will drop your jaws when you check out the eyepatch...

I don't remember the exact name of the vamp that dropped this, but it was a named winged one in the vampyre castle in Tenebrous.
