What level would an SK need to be to fear-kite this guy? Am currently 46...im gonna assume after i get my new spells it'll be easier than it is now..

I soloed him easy at 57 without KEI =p
I pulled him to the far right corner of The Grey near the SD zoneline, that huge empty space is perfect for reverse kiting

its very hard to fear kite in the grey...ive tried it as a lvl 55 Shadowknight. Did it near the temple due to pathing. But you would cause a huge train unless you try pulling to the zone, considering where he spawns i highly doubt it..doesnt hurt to try though =)

How much HP would this add to a level 60 Ranger, with the 30hp's and 6sta together?

Well, without any AA's, a 60 Ranger gets 4.2 HP per Sta, so about 55 HPs

I see you are using magelo...:
1. Write down your current HP
2. Remove your current Neck item and safe!, write down HP.
3. Put the necklace on and safe.
Voila, now you have 3 different settings to compare.
Magelo is quite accurate in calculating HP

1 group of high 55-60 can do western wastes dragons. We did em one night 6 of us killed 4 an hour its not hard you just have to know how to play your class well and pull 1 at a time and get no adds.

One group can do the weaker named WW dragons, some can even be done with 4 people, but those only drop the 5/4 talismans. The dragons that drop the 7/6 talismans are mainly the scar dragons and require at least 2 strong groups if you don't plan on CRing half the time.

THe dragons that drop the +6 talismans can be done 1 group. 1 group of decent equiped 60's, decent=melee in velious quest armor. Right click items are a must with 1 group dragon slaying. We used 1 57 cleric(me), 60 war, 60 rogue, 60 ranger, 56 shaman and 57 mage. The mage died twice, noone else did. Killed them all in the ToV gorge but Ionat, silence sucks. Escorpa of the ring doesn;t count. First brood dragons of course are full raids.

the WW talismans are good too,but keep in mind you must kill a Named Dragon to get the talisman.
i have never been the WW and seen less than 2-3 groups operate succesfully here.1 group might be able to take 1 dragon,but it soon becomes apperant that this is highly ineffeciant and very very risky.having fought in the grey a couple of times i would say that this is a great item Until you can go snatch the gold chain off of a dragons neck and get away with it.but....the guy who triggered this conversation about WW has probably never been there,and probably doesnt know how to get to the grey in the first place.alas,were it not for fools the wise would not exist.

Dunno how hard it is in this zone but running to WWL for one of the mentioned necks isn't that easy...not like they drop off moss snakes there.

This is a very nice melee necklace, because of the ac and good stats, anyone have a price on one of these? I'd guess a few k.....

For the level needed to obtain this item, this item is kind of a joke.
Just go to Wakening Lands and get a 7ac +6 to all stats, and resists Talisman.

The mob to kill for this item was quite easy last time I took him down (first kill in zone and got my scimitar). So I'd say for the level required to get this it's not horrible. Hopefully this drops when I kill him next, my warrior needs a good neck item. Makes me curious what lvl your are, and how much you've actually fought in this zone if you think it's risky.

this looks like an upgrade to orc fang necklace, minus the dex and plus 30hp. It's not bad
