Since Iksar can't wear Bloodember, sentient, or darkforge, Twilight armor seems to be a huge AC bump up from dreadscale for us mislevel Crusaders of Greenmist...
Time to replace the dreadscalce and rygorr with this stuff.

huge bump in AC? these add minor if any boosts to stats... after looking at what's been discovered so far, I've found that my dreadscale/ry'gorr is superior.
Hopefully, I'll find a nice piece that will replace something, but for now (although the bracer is decent), I think I'll stick with what I have.

This is far better then the silly Dreadscale one I first got bat at lvl 17.

I found that sebilite scale sells for really cheap and it is much better than Dreadscale it also looks a little better in detail but the color is wrong (grayish with silver highlight and black shadows) the only problem is getting some one to go to seb get it then sell it to you the most expencive pieces are the coat at average 3000pp and the legs at average 2200pp

The acid test of any armour set is the breastplate. The quests are similar in style to say the Darkforge quests, but more difficult. However, on the face of it these quests (like many others in Luclin) are completely achievable without the bother and dissapointment of a large raid on Kael say and leaving it more to luck than the deserving achievment of the reward, or needing a large guild constantly raiding the place, I would say these armour quests in themselves are more rewarding. I have always disliked the Velious armour quests in principle.

For all of u with Velious, you should look into the Ice Forged Shackles quest. Its an AWESOME bracer for all melee and hybrid types. My Shadow Knight had a few guildies help get one, They arent too hard to get as long as u have SoW and invis to get through Kael to get to Wakening Lands to get the 2 pieces u need, should be about 45+ to do this solo tho

Okay for whoever got this finally. Where did you get the items for it. Have seen posts about the jewels that would indicate they drop all over. What about the Mark and the other item.

Wonder if the AC on the other pieces is comparable to the planar equivalent? Would be great to quest for a 30ac breastplate, methinks. Statwise this piece is similar to the Velious planar / quest, which had many small additions to stats. Very nice overall.
I agree... gonna try to look for items for my druid and warrior quests... :)
If you compair this piece with the older SK armor from The Plane of Fear, you'll see the stats aren't all that different.
