at FIRST...i was like...WTF?! cuz the top doesn't show the AC...and then i saw the effect...which is pretty kool...u can make yerself a lil kitty...or a lil barb/...now THATs FUNNY!
The word "DAMMIT" is echoing across Norrath as Ogre warriors read the BST only line...
This is the type of thing that'll sit in a bag until the effect is needed. Other than that, it's all but useless, but shrink is essential for large races in many dungeons.

Shrink is a spell beastlords get at 30 anyway. This IS useless.
Fully agree Jarochai. Having playeda bard for a long time (May 99) I managed to get singing steel a fair while ago. Collected all but legs and BP before getting better gear. Now, the bits I still carry get carried about, and dragged out when needed.
Singing Steel boots? Handy for running across hilly zones. Spark it up and the group gets 5 mins of lev. Gloves? for water zones - perma EB item. Bracer? Throw on after all otehr DS's are on. Arm's are used on occasion in raids - some tanks I know still use wurmy's.
Point is, the kunrak armor has been relegated to a backpack, and isnt worn. Sure, the ac is excellent on them, but as a bard AC is not totally necessary. Gives a handy boost when needed though :)
I would use this in the same way. Leave it in a pack, and pull it out when I need to use it. If Shrink can be cast on others, it has uses. Otherwise, as othes have said, the beasty's are mainly large races, with Iksar being the sole exception.
Who cares if the ac is low. Put higher AC stuff on. It isnt like Shrink will suddenly become crucial in a fight anyway.

I have to agree. For any class, especially with beastlords being hybrids, the AC is waaay too low. The tunic is only 14AC. Ugh.
just to let everyone know, i've looted these in KC not too long ago. they dropped off of the skeletal captain. i'm not sure of the rarity of the drop, i'm assuming these drop as often as the tolan's gauntlets (same mob). sold them in EC for a nice price and bought my tolan's bracer not too long after that. WOOT !!!

While it's nice that Beastlord Armour is now dropping in Karnor's (and I suppose it's dropping in Fear most likely), I think the AC on these is a bit low.
Of course, Monks don't even have a set of Armour from Karnor's... so you can't really compare it to that.

i agree whole heartedly-all of the other kunark class armor has amazing ac,where as the wild lords kunark armor is weak in ac...hell the totemic shaman quest armor(lvl 35 to obtain)
has higher ac than the bp they will eventually have to kill trakanon to get-if i were a BL i would feel way shafted.

since Beastlords are basically all large, it is good they have a shrink item just for them, although i am a bit jealous... o.O
hmm..this will end up being the new, cheap, cobalt bracer for BLs. they need shrink just as much as barb and ogre and troll warriors do =)
