Shadows of Luclin
After camping the overlord off and on for 2-3 months I finally got the Idol to drop. Hung around for the next spawn cycle to see if he would pop again before leaving--he spawned next cycle and dropped the idol again...logged on my brothers toon and looted it up. Nice score getting two drops in a row.

could this guy be soloe'd with a DC druid pet like a ravenous beast? when i solo'd there with the beast it could chew through anything fast w/o me having to heal it for like 4 fights, and im not talking just gorangas either, wurms, bats and Xi are easy peasy to it as well as long as i keep it hasted with frenzied spirit 8D, so if i fully buff him with all me 60 spells and add in a few nukes should i be able to solo this guy? thanx for n e info 8D

Ravenous Beast aren't Dire Charmable... they are too high in level.
also theres a pairs of shoulders that drops with 21-ac 15-str 15-sta all saves 5 except magic which is 15
name of shoulders and who drops? The overlord? Just wondering since should slot for my warrior has been one of the most annoying to get, and probably could take this guy with my necro and beast

My brothers and i killed him with ease, before the druid CH patch. a lvl60 druid, lvl60 Paladin and me =) Killed him several timmes also, got another idol for my pally bro, and a mask for my druid bro. The 4th time we killed him he had the beastlord spirit of flame spell, thats all.
Spawn info is: Zoning into Maidens Eye from Dawnshroud Peaks, go staright out until you see the ruins where the 4arms and Xi's spawn as well. Enter the ruins and follow wall to the NW corner of the ruins. You will see a round building, with the top half of it toppled over covering the entrance. 2 door spawns and 3 inside room. A Shadow Overlord's PH is the middle Xi, which is always a Xi Vius on my server, Solusek Ro, PH time seems to be every 30 minutes, with A Shadow Overlord being totally random, went through a whole day w/out one pop, but also have had him pop twice in a row.

Thanks for the detailed info. I camped this spot for about 4 hours today, killed the PH roughly 10 times, and have not seen the overlord yet. Will keep trying.

We downed this guy last night, was a really exciting battle. He normally has a PH which can be a 4-arm or a Xi but our druid noticed a white con on track and we buffed up. The first trick was pulling him. Druid used tracking to find him (he's in the ruins near the DS zone) and aggro him. He has friends so our mage did a quick Call of the Hero and I went out to fetch the Overlord as he and his buddies were walking back to their spawn point. We pulled him to the tree that's near the DS zone (but not too close to the trains).
He had a skeleton pet although none of us got harmtouched. He was level 60 and hit very fast for 190-200. I was able to hold aggro the whole fight (yeah I'm a monk and the main tank. Sounds wierd but I have over 1200 ac). It took all the cleric's mana and about 80 percent of the druid's mana just keeping me healed since we didn't have someone to slow him. After a long fight we finally killed him, all of us had used our mana, mend, disciplines, etc. Whew! He dropped the idol which went to a deserving monk.
The group was:
60 Dru
54 Cle
57 Mnk
51 Mnk
55 War
60 Mag

The ruins are directly out (and a little to the left) of the DS zone, impossible to miss, I'm guessing this guy spawns deap inside there as a named. Inside of the ruins Xi Xaiu, Xi Vius, and Xin Thall Centiens spawn as regulars (could be wrong on Xins). Good luck :) this guy drops a lot of nice stuff.

Yes, that's the place - with clip plane all the way out you can see them from DSP zone-in. He's inside one of the towers that has fallen over (could probably get to him after killing maybe 8 other critters though). And yes, there's lots of Xin Thall Centiens there. You can set up in the corner to the right as you go into the ruins, only one wandering Xin gets close to you there, and if you pack up tight he won't agro.

Does anyone have any info on the Shadowed Overlord? Where in the zone does he spawn? does he have a ph? What other mobs are sround him? Where is the best camp spot to pull mobs too?

Drops off the vamps. Got mine off the ones to the left if facing entrace to ds. i have seen it drop twice, and is no drop.

This guy pops in the ruins area outside ZIN of ME. Camp is up on the hill next to wall. He's in the horn-shaped structure. He LT's for 100's and has lots of HP. We did with group of 5 55+ with no problems...Key is stuns to prevent CH's or you'll drain your mana

This guy is a Shadowknight, they dont CH, of the 3 times I've pulled this guy, My MT got HT'd for 1000+ everytime. His placeholders, however, can be clerics as can any adds. Everything in that fort is either a SK or a Cleric.

I don't remember stats but Ive seen an Idol a lot like this drop of one of those alien looking Umbrol Toiler type things. "Grodans Idol" but I cant remember stats at all.

This is the second uber item for maidens eye. The 20 ac 8 int 8 wis and other stats earring is the other one. Is stuff there that hard that items like thsi drop? THis is an insane item. 15ac 100+hitpoints and 15str in the range slot simply uber.
