No, it can't be recharged. Cha spawns in the cave just before the one Chu spawns in.

Pretty weak item considering the level you have to be to get it for yourself. I'd prefer the earring to this, and it's the most common drop. /sigh
Re-charge?

Hello Norrath!
I have one of these black feathered circlets on my druid, (1st alt.) and I was going to give it to my new char. she is a bard... I was just wondering though.. Is there anyway to recharge these? It says it only has 3 charges for levitate. any help would be great! =)

Just got this today. Been pulling the two place holders in the caves solo with no problem or adds. Finally got Chu to pop, and used all my mana and quite alot of hp's to take him out. Should have summoned a puppy to help me. Only dropped this circlet. Next spawn was Chu again and still only dropped this circlet. Have not seen Cha yet. Hoping too soon. Hit in the high 80's and hits often, so I used Torgor's Insects to slow his attacks and dotted & nuked till dead. Great fight and good xp. Blue to me of course. Good luck to any who are after this.
i bought one

This is a right clickable itmen, not a proc. That having been said many right clickable items do have a minimum level to use them. What the minimum level on this is, I do not know.

Its a charge..it doesnt need to have a level to proc. Simply right click it to activate it....

Picked one up off the named Owlbear who drops it while trying to get a Perfect Owlbear pelt for the Rallic Pack quest. Havent sold it yet, but tried asking 750pp and no bites....

Man, if there is anything that is a real downer, it is these items with limited charges. I hope this one is rechargeable at least.

Well, it should. There's nothing worse than fighting a huge monster or going on some long quest for a really cool item, only to have it work three times then fizzle! Charges are one way of keeping Magic items ballanced, but verrant might have overcorrected with a lot of these. The ability to recharge and item (at a price, perhaps?) would be ideal counter-counter ballance.
Also, while I'm at the subject of ballances, I definitely aprove of more No drop items, because I am sick of seeing twinked out newbies. No one ever twinked me out, and I wouldn't have let them!

Oh, yeah!?
# Mar 18 2002 at 2:45 PM Rating: Decent
Oh, you think so? The closest I ever came to getting even the slightest bit twinked out was when I purchased a set of Greyhopper hide leather armor from a guild mate for cost. But that was just a favor from a guildie! I do the same stuff for my friends, when they need it. But I never give stuff away, and NEVER accepted handouts. And BTW, I was offered handouts at least twice when I was a newbie and refused them, so there :-p.
And one more thing, it's taken, not tooken, twit!

Yuo need to get a grip buddy, there are no "twinks" only alts of poeple whos level is so high theres nothing else for them to do. Im guilty of it myself, Ive been a Wizard for 3 years, Im at the endgame, Im bored. So I spends about 5 thousand plats on decent gear and make a Warrior, Ive paid my dues..I can do that. I will however never give more than a couple charity plats to some noob who doesnt even know what zone their in. So if ya see ya see a young boxer runinn around in full cobalt armor, with a Centi and a frostbringer, give him a break. He's just tryin to have some fun..and maybe he'll even offer to tank reds for you lowbies with crappy gear, if your nice.

Dues Paid.

If ur gonna twink, don't overdo it. At least let your new creation wear crappy armor and weapons for awhile to build up some melee and defensive skills on low level mobs. People got a right to complain if you put a new toon in high level gear or raise them through 20 levels with quest turn-ins. All that fancy armor and weaponry is no replacement for the skills you should have developed at low levels. If you can't perform your function in the group because you over-twinked your toon in the beginning, your fancy twink-toon is less than worthless to the group, a liability that could get the rest of the group killed. Proper twinking is an art, and the best twinkage a toon can get from their high level alts is the experience to know how to get their important skills max'd in a minimal amount of time. If all you want to do is solo, fine. But if you want to group with my toons, I expect you to have the expected skills that go with a toon of your level. So I guess what I'm saying in a roundabout way is, there's two kinds of twinks... them that can do the job because they did the work, and them that can't because all they are is a fancy suit with nothing in it.

Syreen, 52 Bard (Main - Earned it)
Botanni, 40 Druid (Earned It)
Boson, 40 Mage (Twink)
Wolfbone, 34 Warrior (Twink)
Hitum, 34 Cleric (Twink)
Naomy, 30 Shaman (Twink)

Moderation! Equipment by degrees, build them skills! :o)

Anyway, sorry for the off-topic post. Got the Black Feathered Circlet in a drop the other day; I'll probably hand it off to Cleric for the Lev effect. Cleric never loots, so I have to pay his way through the game... not twinking in the case of Clerics... merely charitable Donations! :o)
