Where do I find how to combine the last steps
# Sep 02 2008 at 8:27 AM Rating: Decent
Ok I have all the Bisections, Trisections and quad. It still is not letting me combine them in the Recyratilzer but working on that. My question is WHERE is the info for this that actually tells you how to finish the combines to make Ancient Faycite Bone Circum. I can not find a walk through of any kind. When you look up Ancient Faycite Bone Circum you get no information. I don't need infor on the individual part quest those are done. What do I do with all the parts ?

Help lol

With lengthy quests like this, the universal posts tend to be on the final item rather than any of the points inbetween. So this is the best place to go:
Ancient Faycite Bone Circum.

With 5 gems inserted the buff delivers infravision + 500hps + 300m.

It also increases endurance by 300, gives a Spell Dmg Shield of (-300) and adds 60 to your Dmg Shield.

As well (and here's the WARNING): at this level it gives you the first of the Dmg. Mitigation Shields - in this case it Mitigates Spell Damage by 5% to a total of 1000. Which means that after you have taken a total of 20000 points of spell damage the buff GOES AWAY COMPLETELY.

*edit*

I'm still trying to fathom this one out. Some may say, well after 20,000 points of spell damage I'd be dead anyway, but this is cumulative damage - so after surviving say 4 or 5 small battles with AE'ing MOBs *poof* goes your buff.

*edit*

And it's not like you can just put it back up as it's recast is 43 minutes; so you'll be waiting til it's useable again.

This issue is further exascerbated on the 6th and 7th (final) levels as a Melee Dmg. Mitigation Shield is added so you can completely lose the buff after either the max spell dmg. or the max melee dmg. has been taken.

This problem is very reminiscent of the Enchanter Clarity buff line that at one time incorporated a Dmg. Shield Mitigation (or absorption, I can't recall which), but the effect was the same - you lost the mind candy after being hit enough times and that was unacceptable to most. The devs took away the mitigation / absorption and all were happy again (sorta).

Now it might not be practical, but if they were nice enough to give these mitigations with this item's buff perhaps they could see a way to split off the mitigation effects as 2 separate buffs in the buff bar - thus knocking off the mitigation shield would not then kill the benefits of the primary reason peeps do this long-assed quest to begin with - which is the increased hp / mana pool.

Another way to fix this is to remove the mitigation shields entirely.

Perhaps reducing the recast to 8 or 10 mins (or FAR less like 2 mins) would make sense - those that think about it would recast it every other battle or so to keep it fresh.

Thank you for the warning. This makes it look like a decent to good item for me to add to my nontank for raids--and thus for group camping as well. That 5% along with Ervaj's Defensive refrain means I actually have time to avoid or lose a mob or even take a couple hits. without that pair my usual advisement that I have aggro is the message: loading please wait
