There is an area just south of the Shar Vahl gates where there are two trees with purple leaves. One has 3 trunks, the other has two. This is a major spawn area! KILL EVERYTHING. Everything is a place holder for everything else. With rare drops, it's a numbers game. The more you kill, the better odds you'll see of getting what you need. Bloodlings were dropping like crazy here. You just have to keep killing everything in sight to get more to spawn.

I spent a good 3-4 hours killing broodlings with my level 6 BL and I was about to give up when I finally got the 4th one I needed. These are rare, but it most of the broodlings were green to me at 6 so it was also pretty easy. As said in the item info these only drop off of the broodlings so don't bother killing the other Chk'Thk.

I have killed I would have to say about 50 of the Chk'Tsk Bloodlings in Shadeweavers and never seen one of these. I have also killed quite of few of the Chk'Tsk Swarmers and never seen any there either. For a newbie armor quest, this is a pretty rare item...
