If this cost an average of 500pp why does eqprices.com have it listed as 3.3k???
Don't even trust the prices here. Go to bazaar on your server and you'll be surprised what many formerly uber items are selling for now that the 60 plussers are discarding them to make room for all the new loot they are acquiring in the latest expansions. Find yourself a good loot mob to camp, save up, then go shopping. Why kill yourself to get gear that may only be marginally better than what you have now when you can buy stuff that makes your current setup look sad for next to nothing?

because EQ pericees is bad and people sometimes put way high prices so that they can sell on server for more, go by what this site says, but not strickly.

Because the prices on websites are always wrong. do a PC in the selling zone on your server for an acturate price.

The very first day of Kunark we went here..i was level 35 and we killed the rune lord and he dropped the kylong war dagger...and i was awarded it because well i didnt have anything better then it..It was a great weapon too bad it looked like a ykesha hah! When i quit i gave it back to the guild.

Basically anyone that can camp strathbone runelord long enough to get this dagger, would have enough resources to twink their warrior with at least a couple cane of the tranquil minimum. I'm not sayin dagger isn't good, just that only a non-twink would use.

Well if you mean by camping solo, I might believe that. I tend to find twinks use what ever junk people can find and can not sell. But seeing as the runelord can be camped with a group of 30-35, I see falsehood in your statment. In no way can I believe a group of 30-35's can get a cane of the tranquil without doing some serious trading and price gouging. I would however like to point out that it does have a nice dmg/dly for practicing piercing skills, so I could see this going on a twink.

Why in the world does it say average price of 500pp??? It is better than yak, and several other worthy dual wieldable weapons. I think its worth at least a k, if not more. One guy said it was about 1.7kpp. I got my Kylong War Dagger from a trade of: Runic Carver[200pp] Polished Granite Tomahawk[75pp] Brazen Brass Kilij[100pp] and some 2Hand blunt with the stats of 7/30 and an awesome pic 8) [maybe 50 plat?], me also traded 35pp and 200+gold which was weighing me down quite a bit. By my excellent calculations, that adds up to 480pp! I'd say thats quite a deal my friends[thanks Grivinsky, very very much!!!]

well yes its better then a yak (for those warriors that use slashing) until the yak starts proc'ing. the reason why its so cheap is most warriors didnt and still dont practice other skills besides 1hs and 2hs (i practice every weapon skill, just for fun).
if you want a quick comparison on price, take the Harpoon of the Depths. its 8/25 (close to 8/22) with 2dex (for procing weapons) and 25hp (for tanks), is usable by all spear-using classes, and runs around 1k. this weapon has better delay and 5 more str (but 2 less dex and 25 less hp) but is warrior only dropping the price quite a bit.
also, if you get one of these with, say, a vliiks dark defender on an iksar warrior you will look like a rogue with the iksar mask :P
