This looked cool till you remember you can get a 10 slot, giant capacity, 0% wt reduction Delux Toolbox for less than 2 plats in PoK. I know it is a fairly easy quest but I would rather use the Delux toolbox for the extra slots. That 2% weight reduction is almost meaningless on this bag and it's just 6 slots.
Ya know what? Who cares? Maybe, JUST maybe someone wants to do the quest simply to say, "Hey, I did it all on my own." I did all these quests and worked for every item I got in the game. Some people don't. Neither version is wrong. For someone who wants to do quests on EverPL. You don't have to always talk about how something is SO useless, blah blah blah. If it is worthless to you, fine. Maybe it isn't for the person who does spend the time to do the quest. Maybe they just enjoy doing the quests and the thought of a 2% reduction is just a little extra bonus. The moral? To each his own.
Food for thought Sparximus Maxximuus of Alter Destiny 24th lvl Mage on Tunare
It says NO RENT, probably because the person taking the screenie had some garbage in the bag at the time. The garbage you collect is actually NO DROP not the bag.
Any bag you have, when you check it empty will give it's true status but put a NO DROP or NO RENT item in it then the bag takes on that status too.
Have you noticed that the "steaming pile of refuse" or whatever is found very hear Shar Vahl? It's quest to get low-lvl vah-shirs a free bag! If you don't twink your lvl 1 kitty will enjoy it. Don't talk like it's trying to compete with the Evil Eye bag or something!

The 2% weight reduction isn't going to be noticed unless you're toting mammoth tusks or something. And since this item is listed as LORE, you can't exactly stock up on these. Since a large sewing kit is also giant and has more slots, I would skip this quest unless it was convenient to my location.
TO DO THE QUEST! Considering all you have to do is pick up 4 bag of garbage, all the while whail trying to reach lvl 3, 4, or 5. To get this in about a half hour to 45 mins of work this is great. Not every character can and will be twinked, nor was that ever the pooint of the game to get uber 1st level characters because their "parent" is takeng care of them.
Considering that the new race consume's food and drink at a faster rate than other races, this makes for a nice item... Having to carry around more food and drink 2% reduction makes it nice..
It says it holds Giant items. this is the size of the largest cariable item in that game. that is the size of your general slot. So yes anything will fit in it.
I would much rather have a 2% weight reduction than 0%. And for such a relatively simple quest, I don't think it's that bad at all. Really great for starting characters...

I'm not sure how many other bags out there can hold extra large things, I assume they mean things that are giant in size, if so, I'd love one of these bags, as I am sick of having to drop or sell one of my regular backpacks when I get a mammoth tusk for example, and I don't have any more room, which I can't equip in a regular backpack. So the weight reduction doesn't seem to be the quality of this bag, rather that it can hold giant items in it.
Toolboxes, which can be made by low skill smiths cost about 2gp to make, hold giant, 8 slots and 3 weight (the same as a backpack).. If you were on 7th hammer i'd make you all you wanted, but i'm sure you can find an aspiring newbie smith to make some for you. :) Til' later, have fun all!
The concordance of research is a 6 slot container that weighs 0.4lbs and holds giant sized objects. So unless your putting in 80 pounds worth of items (about 13lbs per slot) to get the reduction of 1.6 pounds between this bag and the concordance base weight The concordance is better. Its not likely, but perhaps this bag is part of a series of quests that will result in a more helpfull bag for those of higher levels.. As it stands its still worthwhile and usefull don't get me wrong.. Just pointing out that there are options.
I've never thought of using a Concordance of Research; that's a good idea. If you're in the habit of carrying 3 backpacks, replacing them with 3 COR's should save you about 7 stones or so. Another thing I like about this idea is that you always have something of significant vendor value that you can sell if you see that killer magic sword on a vendor and are strapped for cash. The COR's sell for around 8pp to a vendor. You can get these free by turning in Greater Lightstones to a gypsy woman (Myslia?) in North Karana. Great idea, Lady Meailia!
Shraclok (sp?) Pack is 25% weight reduction, 8 slot, and holds giant items, and is also low weight itself. :) Also drops off a mob a level 25 or less can easily solo...course, don't think I'd want to deal with the pnp BS that goes on in Highpass.

Shraloc pack is 25% wt reducing. is also lore, so you can only have one. If you don't want to share spawns, try 5am. The zone is empty, and often, Dyin Starsine is up as a bonus! :)
