Shadows of Luclin
Picked up 2 of these the last week for a total of 2,800 PP. Although I see some people have bought off a vendor for ultra cheap prices ( good job by the way ) I still think I did well at 1400 a pop. I am on the Tunare server, and, I saw other people trying to sell them for 3 or 4 K a piece. Well, time to hang up the silken whip of ensnaring, but keep the Lupine dagger around to keep the old pirece up ( and the proc is nice ). But Dual wielding these with a cloak of Crystalline waters for the haste, and I'm cranking out serious damage. There already seems to be a lot of people selling these on my server.
By the way, these are KILLING the Lammy on Tunare, 'bout time. Dropped from 6-7 K to 4 K in one week, and people still weren't buying it. Imagine how long a lammy would've stayed on the market for at 4 K before Luclin ?
The bonuses are off the hook too. What melee critter wouldn't want +8 str ( 16 for me ). And as a Ranger, the stamina really helps.

I just wanted to say that even though a lot of people argue about whats better, a Centi LS or a Lammy, I have 1 lammy and 2 CLS and personally I do more damage with my 2 CLS then I do with my lammy and a CLS. I guess it's just different for each person.

true they are somewhat slow. but i dual wield these and with fbss and im getting quads off like whoa.

well, it all depends on what class you are. if you are a main tank, then two of these would not be as good at keeping agro. whereas a lammy and this would keep agro better. but if your a ranger, then two of these would be better for you

First - As most know if your stamina is over 100 you need not worry about penalties for your stamina bar dropping to nil...
Second - Unlike the Wurmy which has 5 STR and weighs 15, so that it actaually takes 10 more of your weight allowance to weild it, these provide 8 STR while weighing 6.5. You are actually gaining a small bit of wt. allowance by weilding this. Plus it raises your stamina as well.
My Warrior is dual weilding these guys and has no problems keeping agro. Plus with Shammy buffs and haste he's a regular Barb-o-matic

Lammy and defiance are 9/19 this is 14/27, what kinda of math you using to figure that this is a better ratio? 9/19 or when taken down by 5, 9/22 ?? hmmm..
rofl hahahah, look at your own math you idiot, minus 5 to both dmg and delay wont get you anything near the ratio, 14/27 theres more than half dmg to delay, on 9/19 theres a bit less than half dmg to delay, however
in mainhand delay helps alot with doing damage because of how mainhand dmg bonus works, so with 9/19 you'll do more damage in mainhand than with a 14/27 because your damage bonus is applied less

Before you critisize people you should try to know what you are talking about, Lammy is 9/19, you divide the delay by the damage you get a ratio of 2.11_. Now you take the Centi LS at 14/27 and you get a ratio of 1.93. Any way you look at it its a better ration (i.e. more dmg per sec than a lammy) This is not a flame and the primary reason ppl use the lammy is because of its speed which helps with keeping taunt on the main tank, there are alot of weapons out there with better ratio's than a lammy Hope this helps
Well, they nerfed the drop rate. Was in AR for 8 hours today and saw one only. Its a rare drop now. Price is about 4K on Erollisi

some great weapons drop in maiden's besides this one. there's a 41/51 2h axe, and some other very nice one handers. for a 52 war wielding an argent defender(go ahead and laugh now :P) this is the place to be.

I think you are right, Verant will nerf it.
But i dont know what is Verant's problem with players being good in the game. they nerf everything that is good, They are so cheap that one day a level 1 character will have to group to kill a (black con) same level mob.
Is it what they like, GM's got 50/20 weapons and us at level 60 arent able to get a 20/20 weapons.
I ask what is their F&*%?& problem, huh?

GMs do not have 50/20 weapons, if you're referring to the guide swords (Sword of guidance all sparkly)Those are 9/36. In fact all the weapons that GMs use are 9/36 what the heck do they need 50/20 weapons for? They don't fight mobs. If they need it dead they use commands, not weapons. And FYI there are weapons for players that have a Dam higher than delay. Look up Paludus axe of Slaughter.

Yeah, there are quite a few weapons with dmg higher than dly. Just gotta work really damn hard. It could be fun, too.
Do you honestly think there is a conspiricy at VI to ruin your fun? A committee that thinks "hey-they're enjoying that too much, let's **** off our customer base some more"? They nerf things because they're unbalancing, not because you love them too much. They're trying to ensure the game stays balance--hence, fun--for everyone.
Truth. The Centis and the LoEEs destroyed the midrange weapons market. They needed to nerf these- otherwise, everybody and their brother would use them, which would make the world a much less interesting place. Why even consider most other weapons when you can get an ubersword for 3k? I'm glad they nerfed them...now maybe the market will stabilize a bit, and countless people won't be stuck with suddenly worthless stuff they worked very hard to get, while PLed folks run up to the moon and get countless drops that they don't even need. Variety is the spice of life, y'know...that's why there are thousands of different items, instead of dozens.

Someone sold one of these to a merchant in Katta Castellum. I bought it from that merchant for 65 plat!
OK im prolly gonna get flamed, but I had 2 of these babies and sold one to buy an FBSS. After wards I had the pp to buy another, and for 2k on Veeshan its a steal, I decided to buy a Wurmmy. I have seen I wield the Wurmmy as fast as the Centi before I got me FBSS. So all in all I would buy another when I can. Had to get the Wurmmy so I could solo in NL and MS. And str at 194 and sta at 185 un buffed I can usally pull 2 at a time and get away with only one bulb health gone. If ya can get 2 and duel wield them suckas. Whoot just call me B-L-E-N-D-E-R WHOOT
I currently have a lupine dagger and a centi longsowrd getup. Should I replace dagger and dual-weild centis? 51 ranger. Thanks in advance

Like, it looks like plate but has this nice color and all, it should raise your cha,well anyway my rogue has this as offhand with brightwood spear in primary, not great primary but loks are killer. Its all about looks folks. Anyway im the strongest, most beautiful babe of all Norrath on every goddamn server, hahahahaha. ah well good night, youre all idiots if you think this is crap.

This is probly one of the nicest weapons i have seen for a cheep price in a long time. I trade Black Ice Sleves for one and i don't regreat it one bit

got one for 750 on tunare they are selling for 3k as of right now pretty much my guess is VI will change something and make more rare as stated above I'm happy either way for 750 this beats the old css I wish I could dual wield but alas I am a rogue and I need my piercer for the uber backstabs ;) on the messing up the economy comment before yeah it is messing it up now but that's only before VI figures it out my guess is that if we've figured out these centi weapons are messing with economy so has VI, exspect nerfage. Just my 2cp.

Got a sweet deal on the Long and short sword after Luclin came out. Probably 2 of the nicest weapons I've ever seen. The graphics are absolutly beautiful and I finally caught up damage wise to some of the other melees on my server. With an FBSS and the brothers I can tear things to shreds. Actually a good combination with the short main handed. Now its just a matter of aggro control.
Will say that the look is definatly striking on a half-breed ranger.

Akheva Ruins.. I got one there last night before server came down. That, a Centi SS, and the spear. exp is not to bad there either.. but beware the trains. Kinda like KC of Luclin, IMHO
