Reason why it sells so cheap is because it is Magician-restricted. Had it been to all pure casters, it would have been around 300-500pp probably. Had it been all over all/all .... I would speculate around 700pp.
To me this seems a rare drop. I have been fighting for the last month in ME and it's the first time I see it. But yes,.. nice to have one. It will look nice on my mag.
I have been getting these drops from the Gatherererers and the Lookouters... and must have many that dropped... sold for 14+ plat at 150 Char.. but Lore Item.. so when I got two, I gave it to a pet..
We looted one of these earrings off of a Tribal Follower lvl 50 or so in Maidens Eye today. He was in amongst the followers and gatherers just west of the zone to Dshroud. There in an occasional Hunter in there lvl 53 or so, and he was a bit harder. They aggro pretty easily and wander near the hillside we were pulling to. Luckily we had a chanter with us who was mezzin the adds. Problem is that that pull spot was so close to the zone, we ended up catching the trains from others coming across from Umbral or just huntin gone bad. When fully popped, there are tonz of them all over their hillside, and it is a little hard to pull just 1.
Try the Bazaar - the new interface makes it a shopper's heaven. There were 6 for sale when I bought mine for 100pp. High price was 300pp. Happy little gnome magician :-)

Posted:Feb 19 2002 at 11:58 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) yah, got one of these on sale in Drinal as well, our mage already had one, and for some odd reason, nobody else wanted it... oh well, guess I was the only one there that needed money... =)
Some guildies and I were doing the quest to get faction up in Shadow Haven. When we took the book to Thar, a guildie of mine decided to see what he had to sell. We happened to have a mage with us and he didn't want to pay the vendor the 400pp for this earring. Well I bought the hoop for him and told him just to give me the batskull he was wearing in trade. The mage was still reluctant, but I forced him to do the trade. LOL Now that SOB owes me big! (cheap *****
If you look above the picture of the item Morgas, you can see average price is listed. Also if you click on the pricing data link you can add information relating to the price if you bought it or sold it or saw it for sale in a zonewide auction with a price. Keeping this information current and accurate helps the average price for people that are trying to buy or sell items.
i want one of these yet i'm too lazy to go to luclin atm been there a few times ..but more interested on finishing my epic ..only need 3 pieces ....could anyone tell me an approx price
Morgas Magi`kot ...and yes thats my chars name (since i am the son of trillith magi`kot the one who died in poa cuz he could not controll the orb of mastery and was consumed by it cuz his heart was not pure 53 mage
On the Rathe, I bought one for 1k without bargaining. May have got it for less but the price seemed reasonable to me, especially considering the +ac. Jacynth deVichier L39 mage The Rathe
Torn Pages of magi Kot are forthe mage epic quest. As previously stated, Magi Kot was a mage of great power who was consumed by the orb of Mastery (The Mage partical weapon).
With all the items "of Magi Kot" that are popping up, I wonder if Luclin was where Magi Kot died...
I think Magi'kot died in PoA since that's where the master of elements lives. But, Magi'kot might have lived in the days of the Combine empire and helped construct the spires (mages, not wizards =], were the one that cast the spells that brought the Combine to Luclin). Or the Combine might just used Magi'kot as an title for an archmage. Would be cool if you could get a "Magi'kot" title like the Barons, Sirs, and Sages that are popping up now. Magi'kot Ammn Zanjaniwa - it has a certain ring to it doesn't it?
this is some amazing item... especially for a lvl 45 to attain as well, boy and to think of what we HAVEN'T discovered on Luclin yet... gonna be swayt!
I think 45 might be a little low. I would suggest at least a level 50's group, as the aggro on mobs is HUGE. Pathing isn't too great either so it's easy to get lots of adds.
