Omens of War
I got this weapon last night in a raid and I am debating how best to use it (or even if I should keep it). I am an epic ranger (67) and I have both Earthcaller and Swiftwind and I am getting close to 1.5 (Heartwood). My initial thoughts are, this weapon looks like it would be a good replacement for Earthcaller, combined with Swiftwind, when primarily using my bow. When soloing, however, it is not so clear since giving up Earthcaller surrenders my slow and swiftwind the haste and attack adds. It would seem that if I could replace the haste and attack additions of Swiftwind, it would be a good replacement for that given the great stats.
Looking forward to Heartwood (1.5), it again would seem that I should try to replace Swiftwind with this and some augs so I could use this weapon with the Heartwood epic weapon.
Thoughts?

I'd Replace the Earthcaller with Mace. Mace is Just better IMO
When equipped, does this weapon look much like the icon graphic?
Same graphic as Ornate Stone Battle Hammer.
Similiar but no, when equipped your toon looks like they are carrying a very big hammer that has lots of little spikes on the front and one big spike on the back.
Dropped in chest from Lanys T'Val, PoHate instance, final rogue 1.5 epic mob.

Why is there a required lvl for the proc that is lower that the required lvl for the wep itself? How pointless is that?

it's not pointless...the reason why the required lvl for the proc is lower than the required lvl for the weapon is because this isn't the only weapon that has this proc....lower lvl weapons also have it

i picked this up with my guild on veshan it is a great 1h weapon not much come close till ya really get deep in to elemental or even time an incredible weapon. Between my ranger procs and proc on this piece i hit for 125-150 extra every 10 hits and when i got the haste going the procs are flying but just low enough to keep aggro with tank and put out some pure dps

Also drops from chest from Durunal the Cursebearer in WoS (Paladin Epic 1.5, final fight). Submitted this info and a pic to Alla's over a month ago, but apparently it was lost in the system...
