I tried buying these things cause of the mana on it, price is 3k. Does anyone else think thats a bit much? I seen the gloves, hell ya those are worth 3k, even more I bet but I don't think these are

What the fisrt guy is not seeing these are some of the best pants for the necro's, HP's and Mana they are defanitly worth up to 3k

I hate it when people try to sell something for three times more than it's worth. Like the whole Centi LS thing...they're worth 1500pp, but people wanna sell them for 3,000...BAH i say...BAH. by the way, Centi LS's were never lore. it was a scam to raise the price. so the pants are worth 1kpp...don't pay more than that. I got mine for free =0)
sorry to break it to ya, but just cause a price is listed here on allakazams, it doesnt mean diddly squat. things sell for whatever people will pay for them, if you will only pay 1k, then find someone selling them for 1k, otherwise, STFU.

On my Wood Elf Druid (female) they look like I have on my leather pants with black material over them. Skin shows thru where the leather shows skin. You can almost make out the green decorations as well...almost. Pretty cool with the Coldain boots which are black. They meet the boots at the bottom, leaving no skin showing.
I know they look like something my bard would like to be wearing. :)
What would a plate capable bard want with AC 7? I haven't much knowledge of bards, but just how important is mana to a bard? How often do you really use it?
Mana is used in 2 songs. One is a big AE DD song (does 411 per target over 4 targets @ 53) and the other is a charm song that lets you charm mobs supposedly up to lev 55. The mana useage is a balancing issue for that song so we cant just keep charming it over and over.
Basically, mana is a real minor issue for bards, and something that is irrelevant at high levels. The -30 int of a Jesters Crown is about 1/2 a bub of mana to me for example and I still have plenty of mana left over after useing the big AE, even with my int down around 54 as it is at the moment. Given a choice between these, and ac leg's, ac would win everytime for me. We still need to be able to take the hits as they come :)
Picked these up tonight in The Grey off a named golem. Didnt catch it's name, but was lev 55 from memory. Either 54 or 55 anyway - was yellow. Me, a 59 druid, 53 (or 54) wiz, and a 50 cleric took it out fairly easily, and it hit for up around 160 max on me when I melee'd it.

I was pretty sure regular +mana items didn't affect bard mana pools, much like necro mana dumps don't work and clarity will not increase mana regen for bards.
