Got this at level 29 for 200pp, on Al Kabor. Average melee went from 20dp to 50dp instantly =D.
A very awesome weapon, if only my 33 druid weren't always in wolf form, I bet he'd look a TON more intimidating.

I found this weapon in BlackBurrow! i killed at least 30 gnolls before i found it. I killed a Grizzly Bear and went into the room behind it. It was right there in a bag! I was level 7 when this happened. Seconds later... i was killed by an infected rat. It's an overall great weapons and the looks are great!
Sounds like someone was leaving it there for an alt and you grabbed it before they could log back in to reclaim it. These are not ground spawn items.
If you were me and I were you, would we still be friends?

I picked this up at the bazaar for 90pp with my 17 halfling druid. I think the extreme oversize looks really cool. It's a great weapon, I dunno what I'm gonna do if I want to equip a wis enhancer in the secondey slot, though.

Hey yea I bought this weapon for only 70pp and was wondering if i got a good price. Its was bought by my lvl 2 Cleric Froglok at that time and with it, well let me say, in 1 short hour, I'm at lvl 5. HEHE that was fun and i deal out about 18-19 dp on AVERAGE. Yea well I dont hit the target that often but it is a great weapon to have if your planning to use 2hb on your chara. well answewr my question and thx
I think the weapon is underpriced. Other than the heavy weight, this is a pretty awesome whacking stick. In itself probably worth 200pp or more. But as it is easy to get for higher levels, and there are a lot of 1hb weapons leaving Secondary slot available for more Wis, this mace has to sell cheaper.
Selling price of 70pp to 100pp is pretty common. Well worth the 100pp if you don't mind the weight and the loss of the use of the Secondary slot. So for 70pp, you got a good deal. And 3 levels in an hour? That's worth the 70pp in itself. Grats to you.

This is an amazing weapon - tho my pals and I think it looks alot like a lamp stand.... lol
I have it on my druid and she looks like a bad *** carrying around a mace that is bigger than her :-)

Just for it to be clear for everyone : When you see a picture of a weapon where you notice DMG BONUS, it means the one who took the picture was having some extra damages with it.
Now, you got to know that only MELEE CLASSES got DMG BONUS. This bonus depends on several things like your weapon skill, your ATK score, your level, your melee stats. If you are not a melee class, forget the dmg bonus : You got N*O*N*E...
Now if you are a melee class, remember the extra dmg you see on pict don't reflect the extra dmg YOU will get handling this weapon but ONLY reflect the bonuses of THE ONE WHO TOOK THE SCREENSHOT at a fixed time (Exemple : A lvl 60 warrior maximised in 2HB, fully buffed, takes a screenshot of this weapon, you see DMG BONUS = 40. Now, give the same weapon to a lvl 10 Paladin, you won't have any bonus at all with it. A lvl 40 Ranger will maybe have 20 dmg bonus but a lvl 30 Shadownknight will only have 15 dmg bonus, etc...).
My advice : NEVER JUDGE A WEAPON BASED ON THE DMG BONUS YOU SEE ON IT, you don't know who took the screenshot.

I am a 54 druid and mine doesn't have the damage bonus(wish it did). The reason that I got is to whack all the low level mobs when I need to fix my faction or gain faction . 46-47 points of damage is nice for a druid(I do miss that damage bonus ). It does show up when I let my Pally weild it tho.... hmmmm...shame he is only 24. Oh well , when he gets to 30 , he may get a Birthday present.

Doesn't it suck that only pure melee types get the damage bonus?... I would love to see my mage get a damage bonus from a weapon, but oh well.

I got one of these the other night from a sweet Ogre who gave it to me in Crushbone. I can't remember his name but thank you! I'm only a lvl10 female Wood Elf Ranger and this thing is massive! It's kind of cool to see this little girl running around whacking Orcs with it! So far the highest I've gotten is a 32 with it but still it packs a punch! Orc Leigoners are still a litte tough but this seems to balance it out a little. I can only take on one at a time though, if I get a few then I'm in trouble. The site needs to update it's weapons selection because I can't choose it as my primary or secondary melee weapon. It's not listed. Maybe it's too new or something.

Sorry not to be rude....but what are you taling about!?!?! This can only be equipped as primary because it's 2 hand blunt! *Ahem* I know I was lvl 10, (or is it 11?) once, but 2-handed weps cannot go into secondary.
Opps...sorry...do you mean you can't chose it as a wep on character equipment list here on Allakhazam? If that's what you mean I apologize for the "borderline flame", sorry I'm tired...hehe.

Ok I have this weapon and a Dark Ember, my 1HB is at master, but my 2HB is at el sucko. I was curious about what exactally the damage bonus is and what us does, if someone could enlighten me, it may be worth throwing in some pratices. Thanks.

Has that "huge stick with big weight and chicken claw attached" look. 23/44 with stats is kinda okayeth for levels 20-40 but after that you should be looking for better damage ratios. I can picture people sticking to it for just for the chicken foot looks though.

was soloing this one with my mage at 46 not easy but doable..
Drops off a groaning shadow. Very easy kill with me (56 Ranger) and my RL friend a 57 Bard.

Actually...Druids don't get dmg bonuses. That's why you saw no bonus. That stuff is for melee classes only.

Recently handed this to my now 9 beastlord in Field of bone who is now in Kurns soloing stuff level 12s have fun with i crack for max damage with this its a great wep for midrange and non uberly twinked people looks cool gets you lots of attention its a great wep kinda heavy but still cool lookin

He didn't say non twinked char, he said non uberly twinked. This means he hasnt given his char much equipment, much like I did with my necro only giving him a book and a robe.
There's 3 forms of twinking:

Medium Twinking-Stuff pushing 20 levels higher then the character. Gives a large advantage over mobs.
Heavy Twinking-The character will will only upgrade those pieces a few times if at all. Example:The twink with a fungi and low delay weapons that solos 1-10 in five hours or less.
Light and Medium are more common, but heavy has to be the most annoying of them all ;)

I just bought this weapon in EC. Have to get my 2HB up for when i get my Heiro Crook. All the stats on mine are identical to the one in the picture EXCEPT the damage bonus. Mine doesn't have any. Did Verrant nerf this thing???

Damage bonus is based on level of user. The person that sent that photo in was prolly in the 50's

When a melee class inspects that same weapon, it will show a damage bonus. That damage bonus is based ON HIS LEVEL. So no, lvl does not affect whether it is listed or not, but it does affect WHAT is listed. And melees don't get dmg bonuses till 28 anyway (unless on 2h weapons or weapons with >40 delay, in which case they get additional bonuses). After 28, melees get 1 more point of dmg bonus for every 3 lvls (1 at 28, 2 at 31...) and this is shown in the dmg bonus spot on a weapon. My ranger is 32 and has a damage bonus of 2 on his centi LS, and that would be the same exact bonus listed on ANY other 1hs under 40 dly...hopefully you get the idea now...

Only melee clases will see the DMG Bonus listed I noticed this with my bonehandeled schim after giving it to a warrior friend he noticed a DMG bonus I did not(druid).

I am a Shaman 40 and i bought this weapon in auctions in EC. Like every shaman, i mainly use piercing weapons (Spine Chill + CGS). However, I bring this mace when i want to melee, making really big damages for a non tank class. A typical hit with the groaning mace makes around 45-50 damage and I already hit several times for 81 !
MORE: Those scores were made with 156 in 2HB, 200 in Offense and str and 801 in attack. Notice that I do NOT have any bonus damage yet like (The picture above must have been taken from a player 50+). So if you got a decent score in 2HB and some cash to spend, find youself one of those !!!
ADVANTAGES:
Big damages for non tank classes (regular 50 damage, goes up to 80 and more !) - Awsome looking (this item is LARGE and is almost bigger than me !) - Good hit ratio when coupled with any haste buff - Nice attribute bonus (str + wis).
WEAK POINTS:
No procs - Look ridiculous on small races. Its completely oversized ! - Maybe a bit heavy for players with low strength

I have a lvl 52 Shaman and this weapon works very well when clearing out a room of green mobs...also love the look - kinda looks like a battering ram. Get a kick out of the comments I get from my guildies when I equip this...freaks them out. =)
weight isnt so bad if you consider that you get +5 str... in effect it weighs only 5 which is splendid considering that it looks like something out of a gargantuan blender... :)

Weapon looks cool, but in usual verant style it's 2 times too big for any model. Even on a ogre or troll this thing looks oversized and ungainly. Putting it on a halfling is laughable and on a dark elf the pommel is bigger than the Dark elf's head.
