who needs cha?

As an enchanter, why aren't you at max cha already? And why worry about cha considering it's overrated?...I have been at max cha for a long time, so no worries here...

Yes my chr was maxed out at 320 (my max due to levels and aa's) before I would get this gear, but if I upgrade to all this quest armor, I would lose over 50 chr...so yes I would have had max chr, but do to the lack of chr on the quest armor, my CHR would go down drastically

When you reach level 61 the cap on stats goes up 5 points per level till level 65, in addition an aa can add an additional 5 points per level each level til 65, thats 50 added points of cap increase difference from 60 to 65.
If you are maxed at level 60 by 65 you will need to increase your gear greatly to meet new cap. Thus the need for all toons to worry about remaxing their key stats once they reach these levels, which is also about the time you would start looking into getting this particular type of gear, so of course the added cha for an enchanter will be important.

Charismatic Few???

Nice pants but where is the charisma on 'em....

I just find it funny to see some leggings like this with a lore description like this, for Enchanters, that has NO cha on 'em...

at the level you get this equipment the stats are lacking in all areas. ft3 is nice but for higher end players who would really want this at the level that is require to attain this. even a mid range player from a family guild should have similiar gear from 2 expansions ago.

The "Charismatic Few" refers to the fact that the wearer is an enchanter, not the fact that the item has charisma. Some of the other ENC-specific items in this set have charisma on them. This particular item doesn't.

True -- issue is that cha seems to be harder to come by now. The FT on it is "cute" to me (not to others) because I have well over the max FT I can use -- ever.

Regen 3 is very nice but stamina... My sta is closer to max cap than my cha and gear upgrades tend to cost me cha items and cha is one of our 2 primary stats -- int then cha then sta and/or agil as in:
Int = mana pool.
cha = charm (and some say mez).
sta = hp.
agi = damage avoidance.

Thus, to me, having an item, that is specific to our class with low int and no cha vs other stats is a bit odd to say the least.

I disagree.

Although Int is first and ONLY if not maxxed, Sta is second in the stats.

Whenever I look at upgrades now though, my first look is for HP. Not Int, Sta, Cha, or Agi. HP is king for chanters. It's rare to find a chanter above level 60 who runs out of mana all the time. But it's very common to find one who runs out of mana cuz they died from lack of HP.

When you have a mob beating on you, as chanter's tend to see a lot of, you'll be greatful for that extra 100 HP you got from the HP and the few HP from the STA.. Not that 20 cha. :)
