Ragged Discordling Skins are worth 1 copper when offered to Satael Deirosap vendor in the bazaar by level 2 human monk with 143 cha... Current bazaar prices range from 45 to 100 plat on Bertox server...

Dragorn Elder Scepter is no trade.

Also needed is hours of factioning in Omens expansion to get faction to warmly in Dranik Loyalist faction. Killing ukun and kyv types give you the proper faction for all I have helped dispatch. Some Dragorns give correct faction but most do not so be careful which ones you pull or you will be working against yourself getting to warmly faction

Chest

You say, 'Chest?'

Shorvock says 'Before the Muramites came, the Council of Eight ruled over Dranik. The eight nobles, lead by Jelvan the Eldest each carried scepters that were said to be carved from the bones of the first dragorn sons. It is said that these scepters will glow as long as their owner is alive. I have not seen or heard from the council since the Muramites overran our city, but I have heard that these scepters were handed out by Mata Muram. If you can recover one of these scepters along with three ragged discordling skins to hide it in, I can smuggle this relic of the dragorn away from the Muramites. They should not be in control of such a relic. Relieve our enemies of this relic and I can reward you with my chain vest.'

You'll need three Ragged Discordling Skins (dropped in the Wall of Slaughter off yard trash) and a Dragorn Elder Scepter (drops from various named in the Ruined City of Dranik and Wall of Slaughter).

The factioning took forever but this item is well worth those countless hours of killing. It lasts 24 seconds for me and I have never gotten less than 2 procs out of it. My personal best was 5200 damage. Recast time is 5 min. If you get this, make sure to max weapon affinity and those crit blast AAs.
point is

the interesting point is, all the quest armors have 2 parts: a drop from trash mobs (easy), and one from named mobs (harder). For the chain chest peice, the named drop is the Dragorn Elder SCepter. Which, incidentally, drops from Velitorkin, who also happens to drop a much nicer chain bp: Muramite Chainmail.

and yes, the proc stacks with our selfbuffs as far as spell slots are concerned.

(the scepter also drops from this guy: Tiorpat Tornwing)

I'll take this on the stats and AC alone. You've heard it before and you'll hear it again, not everyone is in an ubah guild that gets people what they want. Shiyat, for me, this is a great up grade from a crappy tae ew tunic...jeesh.

Being a former wearer of the Tae Ew Bp myself, the next upgrade i got was the BP out of Everfrost Ldon. Seeing as you can aug it upto 170-80 hps and regen 5, it would be better stats wise than this. And probably 5x easier to get.

I have this BP proc sometimes works sometimes doesn't proc at all ....so basically worthless unless it stat upgrade
Proc
# Nov 19 2004 at 8:45 PM Rating: Default

So let me get this straight.
The Bp is an insta clicky that gives you a weapon proc for 400 dmg but only lasts 3 ticks. So you have to link it up to a movement key, like the monk epic 1.0, just to realisticly have it up constantly. Also i imagine that the BP has to be worn as well which makes it not so hot to most rangers by this point in the game. Void mail is better imho.
I agree w/ defrosty about this BP, its more trouble than its worth, not including aggro, since by this point you should be able to manage.

Tal,

i would wear this over my void bp .
once you get to max sta, hps is all that matter to me

I just checked it out on Lucy's. the casting time is 1.5 seconds and the proc is 3 ticks/18 seconds. Recast time is 300 seconds/5 mins. I dont know the stacking issues on it but if it overwrites our call/cry of line of self buffs then this Bp really is useless to all but bazaar gears characters.

with proper agro control that proc will just up our dps if ya grouping with a tank that cant cont aggro at this point ya lucky to ever have gotten this armor
Hardly Jipped
# Nov 18 2004 at 2:40 PM Rating: Decent
If your an owner of this Vest I hope with tanks that can hold aggro. It's not that hard at this stage of the game. A Good DPS ranger is always running 3-4+ procs at any rate. Besides the lack of AC, this is the best effect Sony has ever given us. I personally am sick of Improved DMG on everything...
dumb effect

is it just me, or is this effect going to be more far more trouble than its worth and grats us on getting jipped.
