In the middle ages, monks often lived off of Beer or Ales alone, as they were often times fasting. Only in recent times was alcohol considered the devil's brew.

*Drink up!*

Any druid that went around using the stolen weapon of their fallen diety should be stripped of all their powers by said diety. And if you give me some crap that their powers come from nature and the planet itself, than non of their powers should work on the moon 8P. Suck it tree-huggers.

Ask yourself... WHY would a druid NEED to use this. If a druid were to run up to Tunare or Vulak, all the characters you would be killing if you got this item, how fast do you think your death certificate would be signed. Also, whats the point of a character whose a caster by nature, to get an item that can do some MAJOR damage in the hands of a damage dealer.
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 16 2001 at 6:44 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) simply put .... cuz it doesn't SAY you can use it. seriously, just cuz a druid god drops it doesn't mean that druids should be able to hog all the loots.

Because it's not a scimitar. Besides, Tunare is one of the Druid gods, and it seems unlikely that a druid would get to use the spoils from killing a druid god, IMO.

Tunare drops the Golden Lead Earring a druid/shaman/cleric only item. So YES she does drop something for them, the nicest ear slot something I can think of. Think of it this way, since she IS their god, she proly wears stuff similar to them!
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 16 2001 at 4:37 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I am just in shock that I get a first post on an item! Anyway, its cool. Think I will go solo Tunare, naked, weilding an Abandoned Orc Shovel. Then let it rot because I am a monk. Then its home by 6 with a beer in my hand...then pour out the beer because I have taken a monks vow of physical perfection. So then I go see my old lady for a lil somtin something...then tell her to get lost due to my vow of Chastity. Back I sit on my rice paper, meditating, spouting words of wisdom...except that monks don't get mana and I put all my points in strength.

#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 16 2001 at 5:18 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) You don't need to pour the beer out! European monks have a fine tradition of brewing some of the best beers in the world. I'm sure you're allow to take a taste test...
