Shadows of LuclinI've gotten two of these from the Grol Baku Taskmaster, yes the Grol Baku Taskmaster you knuckleheads, not a merchant, the Grol Baku Taskmaster! Where does he spawn Arminnius? Where? Prove it! Inquiring minds must know! Well, if you must, he spawns as a rare spawn on the alien island in the Twilight Sea. The eastern island, the one with the higher level aliens than the one right next to it. I was trying to get that Truthseeker's Hammer off the Vas Ren Priest who never ever spawned for me, blasted little Tegi runt. In the process of killing everything on the island and destroying my faction with all the Tegi but the Tegi of Fire (forget their name), I had several odd little creeps spawn for me in the process. I got this whip from the Grol Baku Taskmaster, and two Grey Hide Leggings (Nice Beastlord/Monk Item) from some other little Tegi creep. So there ya go! May Innoruuk have mercy on those little Tegi's souls!

The reason you see these at merchants is because people that loot these items can not get much for selling them in auction or really dont know what they have and sell them to the merchants. I have sold one of these I had on me to a merchant in Gfay just because I didn't want to go through the hassle of selling it in auctions. I only got a few plat for it. But when I clicked on it so see what the merchant was selling it for it was outragous. Like 75 times more than what I got for it. So that is why you see these kinds of things at vendors.

I picked up one of these off of a Taskmaster in Twilight Sea. Was uncommon spawn.
As far as being on a merchant, figure some of VI's marginal stuff falling on merchants in out of the way places.

First decent wep I've seen off a merchant if that's where it's from... great for newb chars or a non expensive twink item.
yes these are sold off a merchant in halas for around 110pp.

I have seen this whip for sell in Halas at least two times. Once right after a patch, it may be new gear that merchant sells but I can not confirm this until after another patch. The merchant that sells this also had alot of ringmail gear for sell. I believe the shop is called McPherson's Bloody Blades but the spelling may be off. I am sure the merchant was charging about 100pp for this nice whip.

Aye, the vendor that sells them is Maggie Shawnasy in MacPherson's Bloody Blades.
I've never seen any mobs in the warrens holding whips. Then again, perhaps some more items were added in the patch? Boy I love patch days!
sounds like thewarrens to me. And it would make way more sense that these items should flood in now that the triv code has been removed

Soooo....basically It's a crystal fiber with dex and agi
that's not that bad of an item, you may not have been complaining, but this would be a nice upgrade for my ranger who is using a crystal fiber.

Where did this come from? Aren't Tegi those little tribal things in Luclin?

Perhaps Verant's been implementing the loot database for Luclin and this was accidentally placed on that merchant?
