froggy crown takes it again ac12 FR20 and either MR/CR20 1.0wt beats this hands down

Your right, Frog crown does easily beat this. But for those of us who can read, this is face slot.. Frog crown is head.
I got one, last time it sprang in the event. :)

The item lists the headband as being face slot wearable. I petitioned and asked about this, it just didn't make sense that in the event there would be 2 face slot items dropping. Headband makes me think it should be worn on the head but I could be wrong. The guy I talked to told me he would log it using the /bug command as well as me doing it. In other words they have no idea whether it's a bug or was meant to be a face slot or not. If you have one, hang onto it...they might make it head wearable.

since when do you where an executioners hood on your head? just becuz its a headband graphic doesnt mean its a head slot item... hell take an executioners hood for example... obolus death shroud same picture shoulder slot... just saying read the damn item before you talk about it.

Nope, this is the correct graphic for this item. I found this and quickly snapped it up, and decided to send in the info on it. I also found the veil, and I am torn between which one is better. I guess it comes down to do I want HP's or AC/DEX/AGI....hmmmm

Dunno, but if it helps you at all I will say this much.. when raiding, my monk has only ever taken 10% damage..cuz I wasnt behind the mob (was riposted). Unless everyone dies or AEs are going off, you're not really going to get hit.. Except for fighting casters..(heck even then..dunno).. I doubt I'd give up an executioners hood for this.. I like the strength/dex a lot better.

This is one of the "not worth it" for post 40s to farm, least not most of us.. Nice name, nice idea. Nice weight! Certainly beats monk tunic & face slot on weight, but it's flip flopped.. Light & Sucky, vs Heavy and Good. lol

Wow, it says face slot here. Overlooked that. I was referring to Mask of the Mentor in above post.

I rather do think this one is a mistake and should have been a head slot item, since the other - Mask of the Mentor - is clearly ONLY a face slot item. However, there ARE other headbands that are face slot items, both from Kunark low-level bandit types.

No, looks like the graphics are correct - there's at least one other face mask with this picture, Iksar Bandit Mask (except it's black and not red).
