Any drop information on this?
About the brew..
# Oct 25 2001 at 1:03 PM Rating: Good
Greets, there appears to be some conflicting info on here about the brew, heres a few things about it.

It can not be auto drunk from the range slot. when you have this equiped in the range slot with no other drink in your invintory, you get the "you are out of drink message" so you do not have to worry about force drinking as it will drink from your invintory and not your range slot.

You only recive the effect (50mana 10svc) when equiped in the range slot, haveing this in your first food/water slot will not get you the effect (you can look at your svc to check) so haveing more then one (ie one in range and 1 in invintory can't be used to stack the effect)

Stacking them has no effect (not surprized)

This dropped from the alchemist acrolyte outside the herbalist hut (hut where the grand herbalist spawns)

Safe hunting,

According to a Magelo toon I just looked at, it shows stats in the Inventory slot (looking at Mod1 - mana it shows 50 for the brew). Not sure if that is a glitch on Magelo's part or if they changed it...

Still need water
# Oct 25 2001 at 10:57 AM Rating: Default
Even if this does last forever, you'll still want to keep a stack (at least two flasks) of water or something in your inventory. Otherwise you'll still get the "You are low on water" message. :)
ranged slot

Unless you already have something in your ranged slot this also goes in the ranged slot...So if you do have to go afk for a long period of time for some reason just pop this in your ranged slot and you wont have to worry about it being consumed..well good hunting and safe journey to all
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 25 2001 at 5:35 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) OK SO YOU KEEP THIS IN THE TOP SLOT OF YOUR INVENTORY AND KEEP TOPPED OFF WITH ORDINARY DRINK TO MAKE THIS EFFECT CONTINUOUS AND NEVER RUN OUT. IT WORKS
flavor?

i wonder what it tastes like....
#Anonymous, Posted: Oct 24 2001 at 6:54 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) 3 Stone?! A stack of these would makes most casters immbobile. (3*20=60 for those w/o calculators at hand.)
RE: Weight!
# Oct 24 2001 at 6:59 PM Rating: Decent
Dude.. if you stack something then the weight doesn't add up! 20 of these in a stack would be = to 3 stone

What's this "stone" business? One stone weights 14 pounds. I'll believe a 3-pound bottle, but not a 42-pound bottle.

I think wt 1.0 = one pound.

I'm a human cleric, lugging around 97 wt. of gear. I can't believe that weights 97 x 14 = 1,358 pounds.

#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 24 2001 at 6:38 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) i hope u pay no more than about 10pp for this - as i have seen many diff ppl fall asleep at the KB. i just know im gonna hear abotu someone paying 200pp and get pissed cuz they fell asleep or had to make an emergency AFK (hopefully in safe spot)
Miraculous drink...
# Oct 24 2001 at 4:51 PM Rating: Default
Take for example fish rolls. You might be too full to eat a fish roll, but be hungry enough to eat two or three foraged vegitables ("snack size"). Keeping this in mind, it wouldnt be too increadibly hard to keep from drinking this item from the range slot.

Just a pointer for those who might be afraid to get one because of the chance to drink it. Good luck!
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 25 2001 at 10:40 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) all the standard forages are "meals", including veggies

Actually when I foraged veggies with my iksar yesterday, it said that the veggies were a snack. You can eat them like regular meals, you just got thru them faster.

Miraculous?
# Oct 24 2001 at 4:38 PM Rating: Default
I'm guessing here but could Miraculous mean it never runs out?

A Person I know has one and hasn't use it up yet in almost 2 weeks. It's been in the range slot the hole time.... Worth a pretty penny never to have to buy Water again, not to mention the 50 mana and the 10 SVC. Real neat and different Item.
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 24 2001 at 4:38 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Saw someone trying to sell one of these in OT. Didn't check on price but he wasn't auctioning very long so he must have sold.
This is a neat item
# Oct 24 2001 at 4:03 PM Rating: Default
probably not because +1000 mana and +200 Cold Resist probably wouldnt stack , i wish it did though /drool

Can it be consumed while equiped in the range slot? Can you stack them for additive stat bonuses?
RE: This is a neat item
# Oct 24 2001 at 4:35 PM Rating: Decent
1) Yes, it can be consumed while equiped in the Range slot. It becomes the first thing you drink, so be sure to force-feed yourself water, etc. every once in awhile.
2) No, a stack of them will not give you a stacked bonus... just like Stat food.
3) Yes, it must be equipped in the Range slot to give the stat bonus.

Hope this helps.
