seems that way but fire/ice get resisted far too often by level 60+ mobs

As much as I hate to bring up the *which class is better* argument. I would say that this weapon should DEFINATLY be reserved for rogues. There are much better weapons out there for WAR/RNG/BRD than this. Other than the Ro's daggers this is probally one of the better weapons us Rogues can have.
While I do agree that rogues should get priority on daggers(dont flame me gah its just my opinion) the lack of a backstab mod makes this not as good as many Daggers (ie.MDoD) Great Stats and dmg/dly ration though.

Note that since rogues tend to dual piercers, it would in fact be easy to slot this in one hand and a backstab mod weapon into the other.

rogues generally dual piercers because what happens when you replace a good primary weapon? it goes to offhand usually, unless said rogue already has a really good offhand. =)

I just won this the other night, and I was pretty stoked about it. Of course, there's no backstab mod... but that's no problem. You should always have a mod anyways, so it's not like it's a great big deal. Now.
My ONLY qualm is the fact it has, well, uh... a very old school graphic. Blah, as in, a kunark look. It looks like... a rabbid chokidai fang or something like that. But ah well! I enjoy the nookage!

I agree, the graphic is terrible. When I saw the mob holding the scissor-looking blade in his mainhand I thought it would look like that :(

Posted: Jun 14 2004 at 10:43 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) ahh stfu,-about- too bad it went to a warrior, this would be a damn awsome warrior weapon, great ratio to hold base agro with not some pos 13/21 corral hilted spike driver that has to rely on procs, and the 180 nuke would make some serious agro too, then u can add in the 150 ruj proc aug and you have some crazy *** agro, stfu. and above in the posts some one saying it should go to a rog over war/rng/pally/whatever.....have you checked out warriors weapons buddy? they are next to trash, this doesnt even have bs modifyer which matters soo much in late game for rogues...not to mention rogues can easyly get better weapons than warriors, and sooner too, i see the same bs from rangers posting too, fkin do you really want ur guild mt to be weilding centi longswords? stfu. if rangers always get the peircers that drop, which they almost always do, the rangers get the 1hs's that drop, which they always do, hybrids always get the 2h stuff, whats left for warriors? 1hb ? wrong again , monks always get that. well i guess we could just use 2hp, wait they go to pallys, or bows, no they go to rangers....think ill whip out my fishing pole and start smackin mobs with that, nm it went to the druid.

I just won one of these a few days ago. The ratio/stats are quite nice, and the cold DD is quite a bonus. I use this in main-hand and Reinforced Mephit Talon in offhand... great combo for zones like Plane of Fire and Solusek Ro's Tower where the proc/dmg bonus on Gold Runed Mithril Knife is resisted.
Now we just need a "Paper Edged Blade" to go with the Rock Studded Smasher and the Scissor Bladed Dagger.
