This item is clearly most suitable for an SK imo and should be SK useable, SK are godly. This is a waste on robe casters IMO give it to a real class like shadow knight.

This item is pretty badass, as far as most earrings go, but from vulak, i'd kinda expect a little bit more. mabey some small FT, or some other stats. 4saves 90hp/mana some int, and 25ac (ac is very nice for int caster earrings, mind you).. but considering how tough this guy is and how easy other really good earrings are (see : earring of the solstice), something like FT 1 or 2 would be very nice, or mabey some stam on it (everyone can use hp). not that I'd turn this earring down, if offered.. but it's just .. hrm. not something i'd expect off vulak.
mabey FT 7 and instant click, unlimited charges of DA?

jipp (60 mag cazic thule) posted one of the masks that dropped off this guy (35 ac) and i have seen him since and hes wearing it.. i have known jipp for 2.5 years. if he can drop a 35 ac caster usable mask 15 int 100 hp 100 mana.. this earing is for real
*SIGH silly newbies think that cause something has 0 weight it is automatically defaulted to the monk. NEWS FLASH!! every other class in EQ has a weight limit too! its not like my warrior can go carrying around a backpack full of crude iron ore at 15 stones per brick. so before you go making stupid comments, even if you are just joking or being sarcastic or whatever, the whole "Monk Item" joke is getting REALLY overdone.
This is such a blatant attempt at trolling... why do people keep doing this sort of thing? what does it really add to the discussion about this item? It's a great INT caster earring, and that's all that's to be said about it.
Clearly, posts like this are not meant to give the wealth of information that we're all accustomed to on these boards. But honestly, we already know where this drops. We know you need to be able to kill Vulak to obtain this item, and we know that there is probably no caster in-game that would turn this item down if it were offered. So, what more is there to discuss? You see the stats, you see that it drops off Vulak. Everything that anyone posts beyond that is either in jest, or to air out their opinion. And theres nothing really wrong with that. See the size of this thread? How many useful posts could there honestly be? If this were a mid-level item in a new zone it would make sense to have a huge thread that discussed the origin of the item, the approximate level of the associated mob, what kind of crew you'd need to bring the mob down, the precise location, etc. But because it is customary to only post useful info... For those of you who don't know - to obtain this item you need an entire guild of approximately level 60 to wipe out every mob in the Temple of Veeshan. Then you have to kill the boss mob of the zone, Vulak'Aerr. He will definitely drop something cool, but you may have to kill him a few times to get this particular goody. As I said, you need to reach level 60. This will require at least several months of very dedicated EQ play, or you can buy a level 60 character on ebay for about $500-$1000. If you don't have $1000, just go over to your mommy's purse or daddy's wallet when they aren't looking, and look for a plastic card with a bunch of numbers on it. The ebay website refers to this card as a 'credit card', and you can use the numbers on it to get free stuff - including, but not limited to a level 60 warrior or mage or whatever else you may want! And if you need to get your new level 60 into an uber guild, I'm sure they'd gladly let you join if you share those 'credit card' numbers with them. Hope this helps! Happy hunting!
Disclaimer: neither Allakhazam, Illia, or myself are responsible for the actions of your kids. If you have trouble controlling your kids, hide your credit cards in a more secure location, like the vegetable crisper in your fridge, behind the blech-olli.
It adds absolutely nothing to the discussion, ... as you said yourself, it's an obvious post by a troll. Now, where *DID* I put that can of Troll-B-Gone?.....
btw, nice earring!!! It just flat out rocks! AC, HPs, Mana, Int, saves, ... what is there NOT to like?

Posted:Oct 16 2001 at 11:29 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Just thought of a pretty good idea for these int caster earings and rings out of this place. Have some sort of negative weight on them. What do you think?
There are one or two rings with 30 AC, I don't see why everyone's shouting "fake" over this. Vulak has insane drops (even for his level of difficulty). MONK EARRING, la~ (that was a joke, don't have a frickin' cow)
this probably is real.. im sure it is.. im just saying just because it has a guild tag on it doesnt mean a member of the guild posted it..remember q's scepter like 2 weeks ago?
ROFL! Hoary Mattekar Robe is a VERY real and VERY popular (now no longer drops) mage item on Asheron's Call. I seriously doubt that there's one in EQ though. Cute.
