In Blackfeather Roost off a harpy patroller.
This item has dropped off of random mobs in The Ruins of Paineel (The Hole). No known use as of this date. Although, when I looked for it on EQ Traders, this was the EQTC note: "Not currently used in Cultural Armor recipes". So maybe it was used for cultural armor at one time.
Don't remember which mob, but I've killed like 2000 mobs looking for a spell drop off a named, and this loam only dropped once so far.
what is it for ?

Ok Ok ,so it drop here or there ,why doesnt someone say what its for and or go into the details. After all the info above says the same things that you all have posted :-/

There are no known recipes that use it at present.
They have dropped the tradeskills tag off it too... so it's worthless atm.

dropped from a spite golem in po hate today (13 Oct 2007). having said that, i killed a lot of them yesterday and this is the first i've seen, so... /shrug

Dropped off of a Dragorn Gaurd in RCoD today. Had Fine/excellent/superb silks and hides drop off of various mobs near sig mission giver.

Dropped in stepps from a black momba. Getting all kinds of new drops every where, must be changing the tradeskills.
I found this drop 9-29-07 in veksar off of a crusader.
I been down here at least 2 months and it has been a first.
