Finally, after MANY Grave Master Zo`lun kills he popped with the graphic of the hammer on 2 NOV 22 (Live server). This is really an ultra rare drop from my perspective. I leveled from 55 to 63 there and then moved to alts for the remainder of the "camp". I had to run quick to get the drop when it finally hit as was not prepared in zone. So if you are gonna mega camp this, with an alt, keep your intended toon close. And you will need to run a gauntlet to get to the drop spot.
now i agree this is a nice weapon dmg / delay, and the +15 / +15 is sweet, but i wish it was necro usuable aswell!!!! i mean necros usuwally don't get nice weapons that will add this much INT, all these classes have expel undead, as do necromancers but they don't have it!
Necros agaisnt undead can "tank" just fine, with our 70% undead slow, and the BoD line going swinging with a weapon that procs this would be nice, and just toping off with lifetap as needed.
I'm just going to assume that if you think necro's can tank undead fine, you are definitely not a high enough level to be worrying about gear like this in the first place. By 60 any mob that cons light blue or better will eat your lunch, steal your girlfriend and defile your mom.
I know it's years later and nobody will see this but I just love how Alla is full of people who don't have a ******* clue what they are talking about.
I play a 65 necro on Agnarr (PoP locked so 65 is Max) and I'm CONSTANTLY melee'ing ****. The Time caster wand procs 750dd which will critical dmg AAs it can crit for 2250 or some **** soooo
ESPECIALLY UNDEAD. I have spent a lot of time de facto undead tanking with slow and lifetap etc etc
My necro is basically all best in slot so this concept that necros shouldn't have to worry about melee or getting hit at the end game is total and complete *********
As a paladin, I would love this item. would be perfect for going into guk and having some fun.. ( nough said ) Does anyone know how hard it is to obtain one?
Corcan Squirrelking halfling paladin of 50 "Unholy" apple pies E'ci <decus et veritas>
This is a cool weapon, I looted one while being on the forward clearing party for a royals raid. Against some mobs this thing does a considerable amount of damage. This weapon + a mage focus bracer can amount to about 330odd hp per proc. I like to use it against the Rhags in the Ssra temple, it tears them up!
Only downside is the frequency of the proc. Even with maxed dex it doesn't seem to proc as often as I would like it to. It's randomness is kind of strange too. It might proc 5 times in a row in one fight with 255 dex, then th enext fight buffed the same, will not proc at all.
From the Graveyard Area, one of the most fun places I've fought in EQ. Quick spawns, multiple nameds, decent xp and good hardcore fun. Seemes like a very rare drop, anyone gotten one lately?
I want this soo bad ;)

Dawnfire, Morning star of light is a wicked common drop in plane of fear(off golems that i seen). Cleric only though Banish undead 11/34. Not no drop, not even lore. Procs or tries to proc on live stuff ALOT even with 87 dex. Is alot of fun, advise all clerics to get one. THis wouldn't be bad either, just proc isn;t as much damage.(cleric melee sucks, but lower delay is nice)
1.I only got my 1hb skill up, because I got a Guardians Mace from HS.. hehe like 14/24. I got my skill up to 100 just from that camp and a few practice points.. This is ubah better than SoM, which is 16/27 and proc Tashan's Clash.. Like a 5sec stun.. I had one of them, and wasn't very impressed with it.. Didn't proc that ofted <Dex at 150>, So I traded that for a Crafted Velium Claymore/Dw Boots/Mith Greaves/Mith Bp I think I got the better end of the deal there.. NE who.. If in a group, who would this weapon bennefit more? Cleric or Pally/SK? I mean the Wis/Int is nice for both class's. But, who would use this to it's full potential the most? I could see a brawl breakin out in a group with this 1..
Id say pally sk, they can benefit from all the stats while the cleric wouldnt need the great melee stats, and clerics can get equal or better primary hand items at this lvl, whereas this is hard to beat. Sure beats the noct i have at 52 and many others have far past it... In some situations, id use this over epic, cause it would allow use of a shield and even in seb, i still tank alot and the shield and increased speed is nice. Not saying its bad for clerics, just my opinion that they wouldnt benefit from it nearly as much as sk/pally...
Very nice weapon. It's nice to see that the new Chardok is putting some new droppable high end stuff back in the economy. We got a jagged sword of mourning yesterday off something that was green to me at lvl 60. it's 13/25 10dex 10svm and droppable. It's been in the game for a long time, but i believe it was an uber rare off Korokust before. Not sure where it used to drop, but it's a very good item nonetheless. I rolled a 0/300 on it =). was a guild group so i was happy to see the other melee in the group win it. Anyway this thing screams paladin/sk and would be beautiful for a crypt group in seb, or a HS group. ideal big manaless taunt if they were main tank...which they actually happen to do very well. Personally i like healing a sk with epic more than i do a warrior for exp grouping. (secondary 55 cleric) anyway i'll stfu now. =)
Wow... if this weapon was druid-usable then I'd be going crazy to get my hands on one. But... I guess the Expel Undead effect just doesn't fit in with the druid class. Oh well.
I certainly hope this item is dropping deep in. Stats and a 16/22 ratio make this fella very impressive, the proc is just gravy for hunting in OS and HS.
This is a pretty nice item. The proc is a 273DD for undead and proced lot for me. Dmg Dly is hella nice IMHO. Dropped around the library area if anyone wants to know.

Paladin and cleric are understandable, they already get anti-undead spells; but where in all the world would a shaman come into the picture? This is not D&D, wisdom as a primary stat doesnt mean you should get slated on stuff like this.
The better question would be that if clerics and their paladin hybrid can use this wouldnt it follow that because shadow knights are alsted their parent class get put on the list. Necromancers get the undead only line of dd spells as well and they got left off this sweet sthyck.
Lastly, 15 int & wis WOULD be helpful to a warrior to skill up faster with combat skills that way we have an easier time hitting the mobs that would otherwise wipe the floor with you chain casting monkeys...
