I see this as a darned fine rogue weapon PERIOD. Seems to me teh tanks should have better carnage waeopns than this. Bards, seem to be able to use two slashers at once so they need light and fast. This would not be bad for them.. But For Rogue this is a darned nice item. I don't understand why a SK or Pally should not be able to use.
Someshere there is a little man with a calculator that spends 12 hours a day trying to do class balancing on every item the geeks think up.

Pally and Sk can't use it because it is a weapon, not a shield. They don't have dual wield.

I dual wield this with a LSoEE now and like the combination very much. I have tried many, many 1hs weapons (Defiance, Frostbringer, Centi LS, Veno Axe, etc), and this is the first time I didn't want to bend one of my weapons around a tree. The speed is slow enough for a Ranger not to draw aggro from the MT, the ac helps, and the ratio is very good. I am working on my epics, but until then, I am finally satisfied.

It's a fair trade in Happy-Joy-Joy Land where everyone knows that a ton of worthless crap will always be an acceptable trade for one really nice item!

hello everyone i am a very hhappy merchant today thanks to the new system gui i went in with no tolans and 1400pp and came out with 4 tolans pieces and this beauty for only 1k i luv it and this is made much better due to the fact i have FBSS Woot happy dance ok.

This is a totaly awesome weapon. Even with the secondary restriction, its a hard one to replace. I bought mine on the Mithaniel Marr server and only gave it up when I got a set of Centi Swords. I took the stats over the ac bonus once I had improved my armor as well.

Got one of these from a friend on my server for 4k cash. I don't see it being much more than that, in comparision to the "Green Jade Axe" with a similar ratio (17/34) and stats as well as equippable in both hands. I would say 6k on my server, taking everything in consideration (including its look). Mind you, I prefer the 10ac on this weapon slightly better than the stats on the GJA, considering it has neg15sta which isn't fatal but makes a dent. Having a higher damage weapon in the offhand for us rogues is a good idea, it will draw less taunt and still do excellent damage. And it's also nice to see those high slash hits mixed in your piercing spam =) A great choice for any of the compatible classes, in my opinion. /cheer Verant, great new drops!

You're right, this is about 4k. Remember though that almost any site that has a price ratio it is put together by those that first get the item, and then current. Which means 99 times out of 100, you can immediately cut 1/3 off what is posted. Unless it's something they have modified since (like the monk beeds or manastone)

I'm a Ranger and I duel Weild a Wurmy and Sarnak Parry Blade. Together they do a ton of Dmg, especcialy with Double hit. The most Dmg I've dont with the parry blade is 64/60 double hit. With the wurmmy doin double hit for 90/90, add that up and u get 300+ dmg in 2 swings. I like these weps together.

Backstab, even double backstab, is all done with the primary hand. Slashing in the off-hand doesn't penalize the rogue at all.
This is truely an excellent offhander, especially for a Rogue or Ranger. It's a tad slow for the Warrior but the ratio is still just fine and I never turn up 10 raw AC in the offhand slot. Slow enough to reduce aggro and damaging enough to be worthwhile... a great addition.
It really doesnt matter for BS, since this is offhand anyway. Having a piercer in the primary slot will allow you to backstab with it

Uh, abandon, what the hell are you talking about? Guy's making a decent point, and I think we all know it's quite obvious there's not gonna' be BS damage from it...it's 1hs.

now I don't argue when warriors or rangers or bards say that weapons are for them.. but consider this... this weapon is usable by rog's.. the highest damage on any rog piercer is 15 previous to this one.... this one has a higher damage then even our epic.. not to mention a decent ratio.... but hey to each thier own

It is 1H Slashing and offhand only, a good weapon for any class that can use it.

Um this weapon is 1hs not piercing.
Can Rogues only BS with piercing?
