i got 2 on innoruuk.I like the CoT/Baton or CoT/KD instead of both in melee.Its Slow but i hit alot of 28s on and off

i am interested on some info pls? it has to do with dual wield. i have a Goranga spiked club in primary since it can only go there dly 23 and Cane of Harmony in secondary dly 25 or 28 cant remember. are these 2 weps dly too far apart to get proper dual wield hits or am i okay with this set-up? for i have not spent much time looking into this as i guess i should have. thnk u

i just bought this wep for 1k on prexus, it prob goes for more tho, much better then a kd for monk.
Have one of these on my lvl 34 mnk. dualing it with a knuckle duster. Not sure about the give and take of speed vs main/off hand... but I really do think that I hit more often with same speed weapons in both hands. had 2 cane of tranquil, got kd, and noticed a bit of difference in hits made/connecting (aside from the speed of the kd being slower), got this with kd and hits are much more consistant.
Is this in my mind or some other reason... no real clue... just like to see 4 hits at once consistantly.
price i got it for was 2500 in ec on brell.

48 human monk here. Have this in offhand. I ALWAYS keep faster weapon in primary. This is great offhand. Great monk weapon although just a little bit heavy.
Primary = Master Wu's Trance Stick
Secondary = Etched Steel Baton

Actually you shall put faster weapon in your off hand. The reason is if you put the slower weapon in your offhand, you may miss a duel wield chance because the delay for the slower weapon haven't meet. I always put the faster weapon in my monk's offhand, yes the primary might hit a little slower, but at least I'm not missing any chance to use my offhand.

dude wtf are you on? offhand is supposed to be slower weapon, you want a primary with fast delay regardless of dmg and an offhand thats higher delay/dmg, or if you have like kd/ vs fighting baton ratio then i'd put KD in main hand because it's a lot better
I guess it would make sense to put a fast weapon in off hand if you are still increasing skill in dual wield and have more than enough firepower with the main hand as well.
Or if you do not wish to take all the aggro that speed creates in main hand, slower and higher damage weapons are not bad.

hi i'm a level 14 druid and i think this weapon rocks it would definitively make a great weapon for me so i can melee monsters to death well yes i think it would be great do you think this weapon will be sold very often and if so how much maybe i can buy myself one oh well bye
Actually I'd have to say that this wouldn't make a good weapon for you. If you like playing a druid and want to melee mobs to death you should be playing a ranger :P
At your level you should be looking for +wis (and later +svs) from your weapon. With the AC and ratio on this it really belongs in the hand of someone that is (and should be) getting hit.

I would have to disagree with this. At level 14 a druid should have a varity of ac, mana, and nice weapons. That is if you are going the twink route. A good set of items will take you to 26, after that start working on the wis

Prices and rarity of items depend on one thing and one thing only: How old your server is.
The older your server is, the easier it will be to find items at low prices.

Another factor is Hot spots for farming. Each server most likely has zones that are hunted often,while other servers you can hear crickets outside. The Timorous Deep is rarely farmed on Bristlebane server(maybe one or two players in zone),while on other servers I play it's pretty active(5 to 20 players). This can affect the rarity of items that can only be found in those zones.
On Druzzil Ro,Bricks of Ethereal Energy are 20pp+ while on Bristlebane,they can be bought every day for 5 to 10pp each. I'm not sure if this is because of zone-farming or just from popularity of certain recipes.

Got one tonight. Came off of the Drill Master near the bank area in Chardok. Looks like a metal pipe in your inventory, but when equiped looks like the cane of the tranquil.

My guild(Dread Templar)went to Chardok last night and got one of these, not sure what room or mob tho, wasn't able to make it to raid.

Got one of these today, the graphic in your inventory looks pretty weird, but these look like a Cane of the Tranquil.
This (and the Cane of the Tranquil) looks like a normal boring wooden staff.

Who drops this? Would love this in primary and jade mace in offhand. Is it possible to camp the spawn or is it too deep for a solid group of low-mid 50s?

Problem is, this has a delay of 28 and a Jade Mace has a delay of 18, so you'll have no chance of dual wield on every other mace swing as the Baton will not yet be recycled. To be truly effective your off hand weapon should be equal to or faster than your Primary.

duel wield is NOT effected by speed of either weapon. they are independant of each other.
Ummmmm, not until your skill of Dual Wield is over 200. Before that, secondary is dependant on primary. LOTS of posts and tests on that. Its a proven fact. Might be 250 DW, or 200 can't remember, but it is not until a high skill that it is independant!
BTW this would be a great ranger weapon, lots of damage, but delay wont keep all the aggro on you, but enough if you need to taunt off a caster.
