key to vp
# Oct 01 2001 at 2:25 PM Rating: Decent
give trakannons tooth and all 3 completed medallions to emperor ganak (same guy as seb key )

9 pieces of medallions with 3 quest guys to put them together.
1)rotting skele in dl
2)verix in karnors castle
3)ancient jasarth in friona vie
4)bloodgill marauder in lake of ill omen
5)pained soul in tarkannons teeth
6)quest charred staff to solsnett in warslik woods
7)quest black sapphire and ruby to niblek in chardok
8)ground spawn in swamp of no hope
9)ground spawn in the library in kaesora top floor

quest guys in timorous deep, loio ,burning woods

The key will take about 60 hrs to complete and you will need about 24 to have one. you will have to kill tarkannon about 8 times to get the teeth needed.

The equipment that comes out of veeshans peak is nice but not exceptional . It is a fun zone to visit though.
#Anonymous, Posted: Sep 29 2001 at 9:11 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This has been out for a long time, I recently got one off Phara Dar myself, but banked it shortly after because I got a razor sharp shortsword on the next trip, which has a better ratio. Pretty much this is a bard item or resist item for other tanks
Good for all, but GREAT for bards

An uber guild just man-handled Phara dar and she dropped this item. Who will get it? Lets listen in...

<guildleader> says to the guild, "Also she dropped a 1hs 19/33, 10 cha, agi, 10 to resists. Anyone need it?"
<ranger> says to the guild, "I'll take it if no one else wants it."
<warrior> says to the guild, "I don't need it"
<druid> says to the guild, "druid usable?"
<shadowknight> say to the guild, "what a piece of crap"
<guildleader> says to the guild, "no druids. WAR PAL RNG SHD BRD ROGU"
<shadowknight> says to the guild, "I can't believe Phara dar would drop that crap. /rude verant"
<paladin> says to the guild, "no sh*t!"
<bard> says to the guild, "I NEED!"
<bard> says to the guild, "I want it - I would use it with my regular equipment. would be a perfect offhand for me"
<ranger> says to the guild, "you've got your epic in your offhand - why don't you just put your BoH in your offhand?"
<bard> says to the guild, "cause BoH is primary only. /rude verant"
<ranger> says to the guild, "figures. give it to the bard - I probably wouldn't use it very much"
<guildleader> says to the guild, "no one else wants? rogu doesn't want? going once, going twice..."
<rogue> says to the guild, "thanks, but no thanks"
<warrior> says to the guild, "nope"
<shadowknoght> says to the guild, "my pet would kick *** with that weapon"
<paladin> says to the guild, "nay"
<druid> says to the guild, "lol"
<guildleader> says to the guild, "grats <bard>"
<bard> says to the guild, "Thanks!"
<bard> says to the guild, "WOOT!"
/everyone congratulates <bard>

And the bard lived happily ever after...until he accidentally went into Qeynos in DE form and got waxed by that stupid SK corrupt guard...and he had to eat the exp loss cause there were no clerics anywhere near him, they were all in Velious or the planes...<sigh>

lol no one ever said the bard survived there he was just in the guild and the most powerful guard im queynos is 50 and a bard can not solo worth sh*t lol so of course he was waxed lol he was probably level 50 and just got his epic

lol
I'd bet that he is joking but in the case of getting whooped in qeynos at level 60 I'd believe that. The guards are a mix of levels and the evil ones are SK's and the good ones will help them if they agro on you. Probably wouldn't be to hard to get overwhelmed especialy if you got the newb guards on ya.

I don't care how many hours I have spent fixing my Guard/Militia faction, when I get my epic I am heading to Qeynos and waxing Lieutenant Dagarok's *****

I'll grant him the first time he HT'd and agonized me... but the second time calls for vengence

#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 28 2001 at 11:47 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This weapon is kinda weak for a VP drop, especially since it comes from Phara Dar.
nice

You mean that quest has actually been done? I was under the impression that it was just teaser material to show what you could get out of Veeshan's peak. If this has been done, please fill the rest of us in on how to do it.
RE: Such as...
# Sep 28 2001 at 9:02 PM Rating: Default
People have been in Veeshan's Peak a long time. I think that the loot tables were updated or something though, or people just did not bother sending the loot in. I still need my Trak Tooth for VP, blech.

# Sep 28 2001 at 9:08 PM Rating: Default
Seventh Hammer JUST got into VP for the fist time approximately amonth ago, so we haven't been there that long
excellent offhand for dual wielders
# Sep 28 2001 at 4:43 PM Rating: Default
Kinda slow for a primary, but great ratio just the same. You'd kinda want to see some form of effect or proc on it though, considering that's probably the toughest Kunark mob there is.
RE: excellent offhand for dual wielders
# Sep 29 2001 at 4:50 AM Rating: Decent
Hoshkar is probably tougher, but Phara Dar is one mean Dragon. VP Dragons have the potential, even with only 32k hp, to be the toughest mobs in the game.
#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 28 2001 at 5:04 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Agreed.

Funny, I was in Warrens hunting faction (now amiable in Paineel) and every time I looted one of the bronze weapons I put it on to see what it looked like. I kept thinking: "Wouldn't it be cool if there were usable weapons with these graphics?".
Good job Verant, let's see more of these.
#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 28 2001 at 9:51 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) and my, oh wait, i don't care.
