What does this look like

What color is this BP and it looks like Chain armour right?
Teal blue in color, chain texture
# Oct 02 2002 at 5:22 PM Rating: Good
Aloha dear

Teal blue chain -- looks very snappy in a full set of dragon hide armours on a female Half-Elf Ranger. Save up and get a full set.

Best wishes

If your class can use the item, and it is an upgrade over your current equipment, then you should be allowed to roll on it. You should only be allowed to roll for items that your CURRENT character needs. If no one in the party needs the item for their current character, then by all means roll on the item for cash or an alt.

I have lost count of the number of times I was denied the chance at equipment upgrades just because someone in the group insisted the item should only go to them. There were even times I was forced to roll for an item upgrade because someone else in the group wanted the item to sell or MQ for their alt (I was once forced to roll for ES vambraces, and I was the only druid present!). It was because of this mentality that my druid was running around with only 140wis and crappy equipment at level 45!

You might wish to look at the company you are keeping.

Ok all, for all those that have ben playing for years, and those of us that have been playing for a few months, here's a clue: It's a game. Yep, play it three years since baby ultra beta 2.-7 or you picked it up yesterday, no damned difference, idiots are idiots. I started two months ago, but that doesn't mean I'm a mouth breathing, knuckle dragging cretin with no concept of how the game works. I'm new and have earned most of my stuff, what I haven't was freely given by HIGH LEVEL CHARACTERS (those you seem to think are gods and the rest of us are twits) whom I didn't know. I didn't even realize how cool some of the stuff was then, I still use some of it at level 25.
lol, what am I reading about again? Oh yea, BP, it would be nice, but quite a ways away for me. Sorry for the rant all, flame away.

I agree, and i'm not going to flame you at least.

At the end of the day, if someone is stupid there's really no saving them. I'm a classic example... ;P

I met a level 57 Druid who really didn't even know where Everfrost was, who had never entered the zone, who then proceeded to make fun of my level 19s character's '70pp' because, and I quote; "LOL poor you I can make that in 3 mins..."

Yet he needed my directions from QHills to EF to get there...

My 18 isn't my main but I didn't bother to correct him. There will be idiots wherever you go. Just don't bother with them. Life is too short to reply to worthless posts. =)

Anyway to get on the topic, what does it look like? I could never afford it probably, but you know, I may as well try and get back on topic somehow. =)

one thing, ive worked for everything i have... and i hate it when all my friends complain about who gets what on a raid, or who could use it best, because if you can use it... u can put it to best use... it doesn't matter if it adds wisdom and your an int caster, ALL THE STATS HELP EACH CHARACTER..... wis/int helps u learn things str helps u hit... or carry more and since the tanks are usually a bit busy to ML casters need a bit o help carryin that stuff... dex helps u hit and how u proc / crip / crit that helps any melee.. read the manual... it says all that in there

Im sure Glad i play on test where who gets what is never an issue heck WE DONT even have an economy we give items to those in need when we replace something.

All of you on proddie servers hmm well not all that is but most of you buy your way to uberness never really earning it you guys are so damn spoiled all you really need on a proddie server is to be able to horde the cash drops from safe little old rathe mnt hg's

Ive been playing this game just after its release and i remember when /consent ment a person could loot your corpse most playing now dont even remember that.

All i can really say about items etc.. is one thing earn it wear it replace it pass on to someone that needs it (provided it isnt no drop then wear it at parties if ya cant give it away :))

I salute all those out there that have earned there gear and thru countless cr's and posting have made it possible for the noobs to accomplish things in a fraction of the time by just reading the info we have all passed along.

I am having a hard time following Roxas' post but the original /consent issue stated above refered to the day when /consent gave another PC full corpse rights....that included dragging and unfortunately looting. If you gave consent you had to be very careful about who you gave it to. This wasn't 4-5 months ago BTW it was before Kunark was out back in the days. When banded sold and blue Sr. Apprentice robes lasted until lvl 35

RE: Glad I
# Sep 29 2001 at 2:43 AM Rating: Default
why do you care if people horde all the cash that drops off HGs? they're pretty much wasting their time anyways takes a lot less time to get uber equip if you go out and get it then sitting around killing HGs then finding the market zone area and sitting there auctioning for the item you were saving all your money for... if you ask me i feel sorry for those people that sit around killing HGs hoping to buy something great at the marketplace... if they want to do that let them, it's pretty much a waste of time if you're not getting exp

I think if I was there beating the crap out of it I would let it go to the person who needed it most in the group/raid or whatever that could use it. ***** what class would get the most use out of it these posts about wahhhhh give it to [Insert your class here] are tiresome.

"Should got to a ranger, rogue, shaman, or bard. Mostly ranger and bard tho." .....dude, get a clue. This item is good for any one of those classes, id say it benefits the cleric the least as it doesnt provide a great amount of wis for the level attainable. IMO, this would be best for hybrids as it gives a nice boost to all stats, which hybrids need
RE: Should go to...
# Mar 07 2002 at 10:48 PM Rating: Decent
Simply put, most high-end equipment is most beneficial to hybreds... That doesnt mean that hybreds should horde all the loot, however. Hybreds need all the stats of both parent classes and inherently benefit more from all items that give bonuses to all/most stats. This does not mean that other classes (i.e. the hybred's parent classes) don't benefit from these items aswell. If it is better than a member of a class's current item, it benefits that class; if not, that person should pass/be excluded from the roll. If nobody needs it (to use), then EVERYONE should roll on it, everyone needs cash the same.

All the arguments that plague these boards about suchandsuch a class needs suchandsuch an item more than the rest are moot. Just because one class benefits from more stats, other classes still benefit and are entitled to a shot at it (with rare exception, a wiz would never need a FBSS for instance).
