I'd recomend trying to buy a velium weapon instead, players usually sell them for 20-40pp. They have the same stats as combine/fine steel, are magic weapons, the proc from velium weapons is only like 12 points damage and by the time you can proc it at level 25 you will have better weapons usually. They have a nice semi-transparent look. Just remind anyone who wants to sell you a velium weapon for more than 50pp that you can get a combine weapon for less and they have the same stats and the proc will be worthless to you until 25 and by then 12dd isn't worth it.

I tried to buy this from the Gypsies in both Oasis and North Karana and neither camp sold it. They had all the other Combine weapons, but no spear...What's up with that?
